Ileosigmoid knotting (ISK) is a rare double-loop ileus form. Therefore, its physiopathology including the triggering factors, are not well investigated. We aimed to discuss the physiopathology, particularly the triggering factors in ISK. ⋯ Although there is not enough data on this subject in the literature, increased bowel motility, excessive body motions, and overeating appear as the triggering factors in the forming of ISK.

To analysis the relevant infections and risk factors of patients undergoing hemodialysis semi-permanent catheter (tunneled cuffed) placement during for maintenance hemodialysis. ⋯ Patients with ESRF CRF are at risk and prone to catheter-related infections during hemodialysis using catheter, mainly tunnel infection and catheter exit-site infection. Gram-positive cocci are the main pathogens. Hypoalbuminemia, too long catheter indwelling time and diabetes are the risk factors for infections.

To compare the diagnostic efficacy of fine needle aspiration (FNA) and core needle biopsy (CNB) for metastatic lymph nodes guided by contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS), and to provide reference for clinical selection of puncture methods. ⋯ CEUS can guide puncture and improve diagnosis accuracy. No statistical difference can be seen in the diagnostic efficacy of CNB and FNA for metastatic lymph nodes, CNB can provide more diagnostic information, while FNA can replace CNB for metastatic lymph nodes adjacent to blood vessels and difficult to operate.

To understand the incidence and related risk factors of extrauterine growth retardation (EUGR) in preterm infants. ⋯ The incidence of EUGR in premature infants at discharge is relatively high. Strengthening perinatal health care for pregnant women, reducing the incidence of intrauterine growth retardation and preterm birth, giving intestinal feeding as soon as possible after birth, and actively participating in preventing and treating postnatal complications are effective ways to reduce the incidence of EUGR at discharge.

To compare the clinical effects of Osimertinib and Gefitinib in the treatment of non-small cell lung (NSCLC) complicated with epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) gene mutation. ⋯ The clinical effect of oxitinib in the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer complicated with EGFR gene mutation is similar to that of Gefitinib. In patients with advanced NSCLC and EGFR gene mutations, oxitinib treatment is associated with significantly longer PFS and lower adverse reaction rate compared with Gefitinib treatment.
