To assess household poverty, sanitation and hygiene practices, and food security in both urban and rural settlements of district Peshawar. ⋯ The findings of the study revealed both non-poor and food secure households with satisfactory water, hygiene and sanitation practices.

To determine the impact of helmet wearing on traumatic brain injury. ⋯ Lack of helmet use is linked to abnormal brain imaging, more complications, and a longer stay in the hospital after a head injury.

The current review aimed to assess the efficacy of adjunctive chlorhexidine (CHX) in the non-surgical treatment of peri-implantitis/peri-implant mucositis. ⋯ Evidence on the efficacy of adjunctive CHX for peri-implant mucositis is conflicting. Similarly, strong conclusions on the effect of CHX for peri-implantitis cannot be drawn due to limited number of studies. Overall, there seems to be a trend of non-significant impact of CHX on outcomes of peri-implant mucositis as well as peri-implantitis.

To evaluate the complications of apical prolapse correction with abdominally placed mesh and to assess the long-term efficacy of Sacrohysteropexy and Sacrocolpopexy. ⋯ The present study signifies the use of abdominally placed mesh in patients with pelvic organ prolapse indicating significant improvement in Pelvic Organ Prolapse-associated symptoms postoperatively.

Early years of childhood form the basis of intelligence, personality, social behaviour, and capacity to learn and nurture oneself as an adult. Our objective was to find out the effects of screen time on behavior of pre-schoolers, which could provide scientific grounds to the control of digital screen time. ⋯ Study findings revealed that excessive screen time has deleterious effect and is associated with behavioural problems of pre-schoolers.
