Accurately identifying the cellular, biomolecular, and toxicological functions of anticancer drugs help to decipher the potential risk of genotoxicity and other side effects. Here, we examined bleomycin for cellular, molecular and toxicological mechanisms using next-generation knowledge discovery (NGKD) tools. ⋯ Analysis of TGx-DDI data of bleomycin using NGKD tools provided information about toxicogenomics and other mechanisms. Integration of all "omics" based approaches is crucial for the development of translatable biomarkers for evaluating anticancer drugs for safety and efficacy.

Prolonged intensive care unit stay not only increases hospital cost but it also prevents hospital equipment to be used by other patients who need them. The aim of this study was to identify factors that affect the duration of intensive care unit stay in post coronary artery bypass grafting patients with chronic kidney disease. ⋯ Post op arrhythmias, recent myocardial infarction, shock and acute kidney injury are independent risk factors causing prolonged intensive care unit stay in post coronary artery bypass grafting patients.

The term "brain drain" refers to the exodus of educated or professional individuals to another nation, industry, or field, typically in search of a higher salary or living standard. Our objective was to look into the reasons why medical students leave after graduation, how it affects Pakistan's socio-medical situation, and what may be done to address it. ⋯ According to this survey, one in three medical students aspires to move overseas after graduation owing to a lack of resources and ineffective management, which has been adversely affecting Pakistan's socio-medical situation. As a result, it is important for Pakistan's health officials to launch campaigns to address the issues faced by medical students and physicians in order to prevent brain drain.

To determine the relationship between the patient's Body Mass Index (BMI) and the cardiovascular effects produced by propofol at a dose of 1.5 mg/kg in the Pakistani population. ⋯ In the Pakistani population, propofol at an induction dose of 1.5 mg/kg to patients with different body weights produces cardiovascular effects with marked standard deviations in each group, which indicate different individual responses. Clinical Trial Number: NCT05383534 https://register.clinicaltrials.gov/.
