To compare the incidence of postoperative endophthalmitis after eventful cataract surgery i.e. posterior capsular rupture, in patients managed with anterior vitrectomy and intra ocular lens implantation intraoperatively to patients managed with anterior vitrectomy and intraocular lens implantation two weeks after the posterior capsule rupture. ⋯ This study showed that management of posterior capsular rupture through anterior vitrectomy and secondary intraocular lens implantation after two weeks has less chances of postoperative endophthalmitis.

To discuss the referral mechanisms established for safe and expeditious inter-facility transfer of COVID 19 positive patients to ensure their referrals through establishing proper communication channels. ⋯ The development of referral mechanisms is the need of the day that has been highlighted through the COVID 19 pandemic. It is our hope that these mechanisms are sustained after the pandemic and result in improvement in patient outcome through proper referrals.

The aim of this study was to explore the expectations and fears faced by doctors during Covid-19 Pandemic. ⋯ It was concluded that doctors had their fears and perceptions regarding pandemic which need to be addressed while policy making. They fear wellbeing of their families and contacting Covid-19, if not provided proper PPE. Our study provides insight of expectations, fears and perceptions of our frontline which invariably gives insight of the views of healthcare workers.

To evaluate the success rate of Transcanalicular Diode laser assisted Dacryocystorhinostomy (TC-DCR) in cases of acquired nasolacrimal duct obstruction (NLDO). ⋯ TC- DCR is a minimally invasive technique of doing Dacryocystorhinostomy and imparts more than 90% success rate. It has additional advantages of good cosmetic results, low complication rate and short surgery and convalescence time.

Interprofessional Education (IPE) provides an environment where learners demonstrate the knowledge, skills and attitude required to manage the complex clinical scenarios in a collaborative and interprofessional manner. The actual sphere of influence of Interprofessional Education in many medical schools has been limited. Therefore, the present study aim was to evaluate the medical students' readiness and perception of Interprofessional Education in a medical college in Saudi Arabia. ⋯ Medical students showed a positive perception and ready to adopt the Interprofessional Educational allied activities in medical schools. The shared academic events would improve in clarifying the roles and responsibilities of medical students in health care professions.
