Genotypic identification of the etiologic agents of vaginal candidiasis (VC) is of significance in epidemiologic studies and in the establishment of adequate treatment protocol. The aim of this study was to determine the antifungal susceptibility and gene diversity of C. albicans isolated from a group of Jordanian women with VC. ⋯ Candida albicans incriminated as etiologic agents of vaginitis among Jordanian women exhibited relationship between various genotypes and antifungal drugs.

This study aimed to explore the qualitative aspects of nursing undergraduates' experience of participating in the Internet + nursing program and their spiritual education needs from the perspective of the Neuman system model. ⋯ At the school and hospital level, importance should be placed on the basic education of spirituality and psychological nursing, and appropriate measures should be taken to improve the knowledge level of spirituality and psychological nursing as well as the capacity of spiritual nursing, in order to ensure high-quality nursing services.

This study sought to quantify the link between low density lipoprotein (LDL) and cholesterol, glycemic control as measured by Hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) level, and the impact of weight changes on subsequent risk of chronic heart disease in type-2 diabetes mellitus patients. ⋯ Diabetes mellitus regardless of gender, has a strong association with hypertension and weight gain. In DM patients, cholesterol and HbA1c are positively correlated. There is a strong need that primary care physicians should persistently advise for lifestyle changes in all their consultations with DM patients.

To compare and analyze the clinical effectiveness of conventional puncture hematoma drainage and stereotactic robot-guided puncture hematoma drainage in managing intracerebral hemorrhage. ⋯ Stereotactic robot-guided puncture hematoma drainage is a dependable and safe operative method to treat patients who had intracerebral hemorrhage, resulting in various benefits such as short length of operation, less injury, less inflammatory reaction, high hematoma clear efficiency and satisfactory recovery of neurological function.

To compare frequency of caesarean section in singleton primary-para women induced at 39 week and its comparison with conventional management. The other objective was comparison of perinatal and neonatal outcomes. ⋯ No significant difference was observed in frequencies of CS, Foetal, Neonatal, and Maternal outcomes.
