Reimagining Medication Adherence: A Novel Holistic Model for Hypertension Therapy.
Patients' adherence to the prescribed therapy is influenced by several personal and social factors. However, existing studies have mostly focused on individual aspects. We took a holistic approach to develop a higher-level impact factor model. ⋯ The results enable healthcare stakeholders to target attractive variables for intervention to achieve maximum effectiveness. Moreover, the proven predictive power of the model framework enables clinicians to make predictions about the adherence levels of their hypertensive patients.

Effects of Social Support on Medication Adherence Among Patients with Schizophrenia: Serial Multiple Mediation Model.
This study aims to explore the serial mediating effect of stigma and depression on the association between social support and medication adherence. ⋯ Stigma and depression serially mediate the association between social support and medication adherence among patients with schizophrenia. This serial multiple mediation model underscores the importance of integrating social support interventions with psychological interventions aimed at reducing stigma and depression, thereby effectively enhancing medication adherence in patients with schizophrenia.

Relationship Between Illness Uncertainty and Family Resilience Among Caregivers of Stroke Patients in Chinese Nuclear Families: The Mediating Role of Perceived Stress.
Stroke is a major disease endangering the health of Chinese people, and patients need to rely on the care of family members, which brings heavy caregiving burdens and pressures to caregivers and families, thus disrupting the stable family structure. In view of this, this study was to analyse the current status of family resilience among caregivers of stroke patients in Chinese nuclear families, and to explore the correlation and mechanism of action among perceived stress, illness uncertainty and family resilience. ⋯ Healthcare professionals should pay adequate attention to the level of illness uncertainty and perceived stress among carers of stroke patients, with the need to take measures to reduce carers' illness uncertainty and perceived stress in order to improve family resilience.

A Web-Based Survey of Patients Dispensed Viagra Connect® Behind the Counter in UK: An Evaluation of Effectiveness of Additional Risk Minimization Measures.
A national additional risk minimization measures (aRMMs) program was implemented to train pharmacists for safe supply of non-prescription Viagra Connect® (VC) to erectile dysfunction (ED) patients in United Kingdom (UK). A survey aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of aRMMs. ⋯ This survey provided a reasonable confirmation of the effectiveness of the VC aRMMs program and assurance that ED patients, when requesting and purchasing VC in UK pharmacies, are assessed appropriately for suitability of VC and receive the appropriate advice from pharmacists.

Residents Preferences for Pharmacist-Managed Clinic in China: A Discrete Choice Experiment.
This study aimed to survey and analyze the preferences for pharmacist-managed clinic among urban residents in China. ⋯ The respondents were willing to choose a PMC relative to the current situation. When deciding on a pharmacist-managed clinic, residents are driven by pharmacists' competency, consultation fee, availability of consultation rooms and collaborative care or independent pharmacist service. Differences in patients' preferences identified in the study provide information on pharmacist-managed clinics that meet residents' expectations.
