To explore the perspectives of primary care providers (PCPs) on the low use of and barriers to routine checkups among Saudi adults. ⋯ This study presented new insight into the low use of routine checkups by obtaining the perspective of PCPs. Although results point to potential targets for interventions to increase routine checkups, additional research is recommended with a representative sample of PCPs randomly selected from the healthcare system to inform future policy and decision making related to improving use of routine care available through the Saudi Healthcare System.

To review and assess the efficiency of pre-emptive plerixafor administration for poor mobilization (PM) and to review and assess mobilization efficiency (≥2×106 CD34+ cells/kg) in patients who received autologous stem cell transplantation for lymphoma and multiple myeloma (MM) at the Department of Adult Hematology/Blood Marrow Transplant, Princess Noorah Oncology Center, King Abdulaziz Medical City, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, over the past 7 years. ⋯ Our data showed that with plerixafor pre-emptive administration, the primary endpoint was achieved for most patients identified with PM, preventing the need for a second mobilization attempt.

Efficacy of bupivacaine injection after pulsed radiofrequency ablation in the management of trigeminal facial pain: A prospective, randomized, and double-blind study.
To assess the effect of bupivacaine application following pulsed radiofrequency (PRF) ablation on trigeminal facial pain. ⋯ In situations involving patients who require rapid pain relief, bupivacaine injection following PRF ablation can be employed to provide immediate relief without subjecting the patients to the risks associated with major complications.

To evaluate the role of different peripheral blood count parameters as a cheap and rapid test in determination of coronavirus disease -19 (COVID-19) severity and patients' outcome. ⋯ Leucocytosis, neutrophilia, lymphopenia, and high N/L ratio together with elevated serum level of ferritin and CRP are eminent features of COVID-19 severity. The inclusion of these parameters in the regimens for patients' categorization on admission will enable early effective intervention and proper decision making during clinical case management.

To identify predictors of recurrent arteriovenous fistula (AVF) stenosis. It also seeks to calculate the average primary patency duration in Saudi patients undergoing hemodialysis. ⋯ Higher levels of corrected calcium, BMI, and the application of antiplatelet therapy were found to be predictors of recurrent AVF stenosis. No other traditional variables were found to be significant.
