To determine the prevalence of leukemia in the Aseer region of Saudi Arabia and the importance of hematological, biochemical and coagulation profiles for leukemic patients in the context of disease management. ⋯ Of the 210 leukemia cases diagnosed in the Aseer region between 2012-2022, the most common subtype was chronic myeloid leukemia, followed by acute myeloid leukemia. In all leukemia subtypes, distinctive significant changes were observed in hematological parameters, biochemical parameters, and coagulation profiles.

To examine the prevalence of menstrual irregularities, side effects, and discontinuation rates of etonogestrel subdermal implants (ESI) in women attending King Abdulaziz Medical City, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. ⋯ Although menstrual abnormalities are a common side effect of ESI, only 22% of users discontinued this method of contraception.

To examine the simplified Fournier Gangrene Severe Index Score (SFGSI) and the number of species in culture findings for predicting death in Fournier Gangrene (FG) patients in terms of their predictive power. ⋯ The survival rate of FG patients can be predicted using the sensitivity and specificity of the SFGSI and qSOFA scores together. P. Aeruginosa-infected patients have the greatest mortality rate (100%) compared to the other groups.

To assess the impact of changes in sinus aeration on dose variation in nasopharyngeal cases using a single beam with various field sizes and real patient computed tomography (CT) images. ⋯ The study concluded that the impact of dose discrepancy was more pronounced in smaller field sizes.
