To describe the clinical characteristics and possible risk factors associated with re-hospitalization within 30 days of discharge among hospitalized adult patients with confirmed severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection. ⋯ Readmission rate or patients hospitalization initially for Covid-19 was comparable to rates reported by most of other similar international studies. Further longitudinal larger multicentric study is warranted to have clearer image of the situation.

To review Mohs micrographic surgery (MMS) trends in Saudi Arabia.Mohs micrographic surgery is a precise surgical technique that has been proven to have the highest cure rate with maximum normal tissue preservation. It is the treatment of choice for non-melanoma skin cancer (NMSC), especially the aggressive histopathological forms, and tumors located in high-risk regions or where tissue preservation is a mandate. ⋯ Although MMS is still generally underutilized in Saudi Arabia, its use has increased in the last decade.

To investigate changes in blood pressure (BP) among pediatric patients with sickle cell disease (SCD) and determine the variables that might influence these changes. ⋯ Pediatric overweight SCD patients exhibited higher average systolic BP than those underweight or normal weight. Body mass index and serum creatinine significantly influenced the average systolic BP more than the Hb level or Hb S percentage.

To compare the radiographic outcomes of our patients who encountered medial wall disruption, with those who did not while undergoing Dega osteotomy. ⋯ Our study shows that disruption of the medial wall did not have a significant detrimental effect on radiographic correction when performing Dega osteotomy.

To understand the impact of diabetes on bone mineral density and whether it increases the likelihood of osteoporosis. ⋯ Patients with diabetes had higher lumbar BMD than nondiabetics, although femoral BMD was similar. Patients with diabetes have a lower osteoporosis risk than nondiabetics.
