Does treatment with Sodium-Glucose Co-transporter-2 Inhibitors have an effect on sleep quality, quality of life, and anxiety levels in people with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus?
To evaluate the impact of treatment with sodium-glucose co-transporter-2 (SGLT2) Inhibitors on quality of life (QoL), sleep quality (SQ), and anxiety levels in patients with Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). ⋯ The QoL was improved in people with diabetes who were taking SGLT2 inhibitors. This may be explained by weight loss observed in participants.

This study aimed to investigate the effect of clinical and pathological indicators at the time of the diagnosis on overall survival in patients recently diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer. ⋯ In this study, sex, stage, performance status, the presence of liver or bone metastases, and treatment had an effect on overall survival.

Seasonal variations of patients presenting with dyspnea to Emergency Departments in Europe: Results from the EURODEM Study.
To describe seasonal variations in epidemiology, management, and short-term outcomes of patients in Europe presenting to an emergency department (ED) with a main complaint of dyspnea. ⋯ The analytic method and the outcome of this study may help to guide the allocation of ED resources more efficiently and to recommend seasonal ED management protocols based on the seasonal trend of dyspneic patients.

Pneumonia is the most serious clinical presentation of COVID-19. This study aimed to determine the demographic, clinical, and laboratory findings that can properly predict COVID-19 pneumonia. ⋯ Shortness of breath, male sex, and hypertension were significant for predicting COVID-19 pneumonia on admission. Patients with these factors should be evaluated more carefully for diagnostic procedures, such as thorax CT.

The main purpose of this study is to determine the current status of long-term follow-up (LTFU) for childhood cancer survivors and the challenges of LTFU for pediatric cancer survivors at pediatric oncology institutions in Turkey. ⋯ This study was the first to gain an overview of the needs of POCs and the gaps in survivorship services in Turkey. The results from this study will help to develop a national health care system and national guidelines for pediatric cancer survivors.
