To identify risk factors for refractory fever after subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH), and to determine the impact of temperature elevation on outcome. ⋯ Treatment-refractory fever during the first 10 days after subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) is predicted by poor clinical grade and intraventricular hemorrhage, and is associated with increased mortality and more functional disability and cognitive impairment among survivors. Clinical trials are needed to evaluate the impact of prophylactic fever control on outcome after SAH.

To investigate whether repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) can modify spasticity. ⋯ Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation may improve spasticity in multiple sclerosis.

Because there is no muscle disease specific measure of quality of life (QoL), we wanted to develop and validate an individualized muscle disease specific measure of QoL for adults suitable for both clinical and research use. ⋯ The Individualized Neuromuscular Quality of Life is a validated muscle disease specific measure of quality of life developed from the experiences of patients with muscle disease and can be used for individuals or large samples.
