Randomized Controlled Trial[Evaluation of high volume hemofiltration according to pulse-indicated continuous cardiac output on patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome].
To study the effects of high volume hemofiltration (HVHF) according to pulse-indicated continuous cardiac output (PiCCO) on patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). ⋯ Levels of inflammatory factors in patients with ARDS could be reduced by HVHF. The oxygenation and compliance of lung can be improved, the number of organ failure can be lowered, the duration of mechanical ventilation and the length of stay in ICU can be shortened, and the hospital mortality could be declined by PiCCO guided HVHF.

Randomized Controlled Trial[Study of timing of invasive and noninvasive sequential ventilation in patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome].
To investigate the timing and value of noninvasive ventilation (NIV) as a weaning tool immediately after early extubation in patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). ⋯ When PaO2/FiO2 reached 200-250 mmHg under the condition of low ventilation, sequential NIV facilitates the early discontinuation of mechanical ventilation in ARDS patients with surgical diseases, with shortening of duration of invasive mechanical ventilation, total mechanical ventilation, and the length of ICU stay.

Randomized Controlled Trial[Clinical study of early use of neuromuscular blocking agents in patients with severe sepsis and acute respiratory distress syndrome].
To observe the clinical effects of early use of neuromuscular blocking agents (NMBA) in patients with severe sepsis and acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). ⋯ The early use of NMBA treatment of patients with severe sepsis and severe ARDS cannot only improve the severity but also reduce 21-day mortality.

Randomized Controlled Trial[Effect of high positive end-expiratory pressure for mechanical ventilation in the treatment of neurological pulmonary edema].
To explore the effect of high positive end-expiratory pressure (PEEP) for the treatment of neurological pulmonary edema (NPE) in patients undergoing mechanical ventilation, and to look for the best mechanical ventilation strategy to improve the prognosis. ⋯ Prognosis can be improved in NPE patients with the use of high PEEP in mechanical ventilation.

Randomized Controlled Trial[Protective effect of the use of Xuebijing injection during laparotomy on perioperative inflammatory response and organ function].
To investigate the role of Xuebijing injection in inhibiting perioperative inflammatory responses and protecting the function of multiple organs. ⋯ Application of Xuebijing injection during anesthesia can significantly diminish postoperative inflammatory injury, which plays an important role in the protection of liver function, helps restore organ function and improve prognosis, and it is safe and effective.
