[Heparin attenuates lipopolysaccharide-induced acute lung injury by inhibiting nitric oxide synthase and transforming growth factor -β/Smad signaling pathway].
To investigate whether heparin has a beneficial effect on lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced acute lung injury (ALI) in rats, and to explore the possible underlying mechanisms. ⋯ Heparin significantly ameliorated the lung injury induced by LPS in rats via the inhibition of nitric oxide synthase expression and the TGF-β/Smad pathway.

[Effect of hypothermia on TLR2/MyD88 signal pathway in lung tissue in rats with acute lung injury induced by lipopolysaccharide].
To investigate the effect of hypothermia on the expression Toll-like receptor 2 (TLR2), myeloid differentiation factor 88 (MyD88), nuclear factor-ΚBp65 (NF-ΚBp65), plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 (PAI-1) in the TLR2/MyD88 pathway in rats with acute lung injury (ALI) induced by lipopolysaccharide (LPS) inhalation. ⋯ Hypothermia can down-regulate the expression of TLR2 mRNA, MyD88 mRNA, NF-ΚBp65 protein and PAI-1 in the TLR2/MyD88 pathway to protect lung tissue of rats with ALI induced by LPS inhalation from injury.

Randomized Controlled Trial[Effects of levosimendan on hemodynamics and cardiac function in patients with septic shock].
To evaluate the effects of levosimendan on hemodynamics and cardiac function in patients with septic shock. ⋯ Levosimendan can increase cardiac ejection function, reduce the heart blood and vascular preload, intrathoracic lung water, improve heart function and systemic hemodynamic indexes of patients with septic shock.

Randomized Controlled Trial[Effects of the β-blockers on cardiac protection and hemodynamics in patients with septic shock: a prospective study].
To investigate the effects of β-blockers on cardiac protection and hemodynamic in patients with septic shock. ⋯ β-blockers (esmolol) can improve cardiac function and myocardial compliance, reduce the myocardial injury in patients with sepsis shock. Although β-blockers can decrease cardiac output, it has no influence on the circulation function and tissue perfusion.
