Randomized Controlled Trial[Protective effect of the use of Xuebijing injection during laparotomy on perioperative inflammatory response and organ function].
To investigate the role of Xuebijing injection in inhibiting perioperative inflammatory responses and protecting the function of multiple organs. ⋯ Application of Xuebijing injection during anesthesia can significantly diminish postoperative inflammatory injury, which plays an important role in the protection of liver function, helps restore organ function and improve prognosis, and it is safe and effective.

Randomized Controlled Trial[Impact of target energy intake on outcomes in septic patients : a prospective randomized controlled trial].
To observe the impact of the diverse caloric energy intake on the outcomes and occurrence rate of complications in septic patients. ⋯ Both higher and lower caloric energy intake may be associated with an adverse impact, but appropriate caloric intake would improve the outcome and reduce the complication rate in septic patients.

Randomized Controlled Trial[Effect of Sini decoction on function of hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis in patients with sepsis].
To investigate the effects of Sini decoction on function of hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis in patients with sepsis. ⋯ Sini decoction could elevate cortisol while lower ACTH at the early stage of sepsis. Sini decoction could also effectively improve symptoms and hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis function in septic patients without affecting death rate.

Randomized Controlled Trial Multicenter Study[A multicenter randomized controlled trial of sufentanil for analgesia/sedation in patients in intensive care unit].
To evaluate the sedation and analgesia power and security of sufentanil in intensive care unit (ICU), and to compare the effect with fentanyl. ⋯ Compared with fentanyl, the analgesia efficacy of sufentanil is stronger. Sufentanil has less physiological interference and lower incidence of adverse reactions for ICU patients.

Randomized Controlled Trial[Clinical studies of surviving sepsis bundles according to PiCCO on septic shock patients].
To explore the effect of early goal-directed therapy (EGDT) according to pulse indicated continuous cardiac output (PiCCO) on septic shock patients. ⋯ Modified surviving sepsis bundle treatment according PiCCO can reduce the severity of disease in patients with septic shock, can make more accurately guide fluid resuscitation, and can reduce lung water and duration of mechanical ventilation and ICU stay. It has great clinical significance.
