[Reproducing and evaluating a rabbit model of multiple organ dysfunction syndrome after cardiopulmonary resuscitation resulted from asphyxia].
To evaluate the reproduction of a model of post resuscitation multiple organ dysfunction syndrome (PR-MODS) after cardiac arrest (CA) in rabbit, in order to provide new methods for post-CA treatment. ⋯ If the SIRS and dysfunction of two or more organ were defined in animals after ROSC, the signs, biochemical markers and nonspecific pathological changes could be accepted to evaluate the PR-MODS.

[Clinical value of extravascular lung water and preload parameters in weaning of mechanical ventilation in patients with septic shock].
To investigate the values of extravascular lung water and preload parameters of weaning from mechanical ventilation on patients with septic shock. ⋯ Increased EVLW is the reason of pulmonary edema caused by weaning in septic shock patients, to which both hydrostatic and pulmonary permeability may contribute, and the latter could be more important. Monitoring preload parameters could help distinguish the mechanism of pulmonary edema after weaning, which may be useful in treatment.

[The predictive value of plasma N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide levels in the evaluation of prognosis and the severity of patients with septic shock induced myocardial suppression].
To investigate the predictive value of plasma N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) levels in the evaluation of prognosis and the severity of patients with septic shock induced myocardial suppression. ⋯ Plasma NT-proBNP levels show obvious significance in evaluation of prognosis and the severity of patients with septic shock induced myocardial depression. Plasma NT-proBNP level and APACHEII score are independent prognostic markers of mortality and sepsis-induced myocardial depression in septic shock.

Randomized Controlled Trial[The use of sodium bicarbonate in stages in treating hypoperfusion induced lactic acidemia in septic shock].
To explore the use of sodium bicarbonate in stages in treating hypoperfusion induced lactic acidemia due to septic shock. ⋯ The use of sodium bicarbonate in stages in treating hypoperfusion induced lactic acidemia as a result of septic shock can lower the occurrence rate of multiple organ dysfunction syndrome, time of mechanical ventilation, durations of stay in ICU and in hospital, and mortality.
