[Clinical value of extravascular lung water and preload parameters in weaning of mechanical ventilation in patients with septic shock].
To investigate the values of extravascular lung water and preload parameters of weaning from mechanical ventilation on patients with septic shock. ⋯ Increased EVLW is the reason of pulmonary edema caused by weaning in septic shock patients, to which both hydrostatic and pulmonary permeability may contribute, and the latter could be more important. Monitoring preload parameters could help distinguish the mechanism of pulmonary edema after weaning, which may be useful in treatment.

[Mean arterial pressure as an indicator of fluid responsiveness in patients with septic shock].
To assess the value of mean arterial pressure (MAP) as an indicator for fluid responsiveness in patients with septic shock. ⋯ MAP can be used as an indicator of fluid responsiveness when the initial value of MAP was at a relative low level (MAP≤65 mm Hg) in patients with septic shock.

Controlled Clinical Trial[The impact of early restrictive positive fluid balance strategy on the prognosis of patients with severe trauma].
To observe the impact of early restrictive positive fluid balance strategy on the prognosis of patients with trauma. ⋯ Using restrictive positive fluid balance strategy in the leakage stage of PTCLS, fluid positive balance volume, occurrence of dysfunction of some organs, mechanical ventilation and ICU stay time can be decreased.

[Application of PiCCO monitoring in patients with neurogenic pulmonary edema].
To evaluate the application of pulse induced contour cardiac output (PiCCO) monitoring in patients with neurogenic pulmonary edema (NPE), and to assess the accuracy of capacity parameters such as intra thoracic blood volume index (ITBVI) and global end diastolic volume index (GEDVI) and pressure parameters such as central venous pressure (CVP) in estimating severity of NPE, and to assess the prognostic significance of extravascular lung water index (EVLWI) on patients with NPE. ⋯ Capacity parameters such as GEDVI, ITBVI can assess EVLWI of NPE patients accurately and reliably. In NPE patients, the higher the PVPI and EVLWI, the lower the PaO2 / FiO2. By dynamic observation of the trends of EVLWI in NPE patients, we are able to assess the prognosis of these patients.

[Fluid resuscitation strategy in septic shock following urinary infection with severe pulmonary capillary leakage].
To characterize septic shock following urinary infection with severe pulmonary capillary leakage, and to evaluate the fluid therapy on treatment of hypovolemic shock and the role of transpulmonary thermodilution technique with pulse induced continuous cardiac output (PiCCO) monitoring. ⋯ Successful management of septic shock following urinary infection with severe pulmonary vascular leakage is based on accurate assessment of blood volume status, especially the degree of EVLWI, emphasis on prevention of EVLWI increase, and adoption of conservative fluid resuscitation strategies according to hemodynamic monitoring parameters. PiCCO monitoring is a useful tool in assessment of the blood volume status and management of fluid resuscitation in patients with urinary lithotripsy-associated septic shock complicated with severe pulmonary edema.
