Randomized Controlled Trial[Comparison of effect of norepinephrine and terlipressin on patients with ARDS combined with septic shock: a prospective single-blind randomized controlled trial].
To approach the effect of different vasopressor on hemodynamics, volume responsiveness, fluid volume balance, renal function and prognosis in patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) complicated with septic shock. ⋯ Compared with norepinephrine, terlipressin for ARDS patients with septic shock is more conducive to restrict fluid load, improve the renal perfusion and increase urine output. However, in both groups there was no significant difference in the efficiency of stabilizing hemodynamics, shortening the duration of mechanical ventilation, reducing ICU or hospital days and decreasing 28-day mortality.

[Predictive value of four different scoring systems for septic patient's outcome: a retrospective analysis with 311 patients].
To study the predicting value of four different scoring systems such as the acute physiology and chronic health evaluation II (APACHE II) score, sequential organ failure assessment (SOFA) score, quick SOFA (qSOFA) score and systemic inflammatory response syndrome (SIRS) score for the prognosis of septic patients. ⋯ APACHE II score, SOFA score and qSOFA score have the predictive properties for septic patients. SOFA score is an independent prognostic risk factor of sepsis, while qSOFA score can be widely used in clinical practice as the advantage of quick evaluating.

[Albumin corrected anion gap is an independent risk factor for long-term mortality of patients with sepsis].
To explore whether albumin corrected anion gap (ACAG) is associated with long-term mortality of sepsis patients. ⋯ ACAG was an independent risk factor for 1-year mortality of sepsis patients.

[Application of modified percutaneous rotating dilative tracheostomy with fiberoptic bronchoscope in critical patients of ICU: a control study for four kinds of tracheostomy].
To investigate the clinical application of modified percutaneous rotating dilative tracheostomy with fiberoptic bronchoscope (MPRDT-FOB) in critical patients of intensive care unit (ICU) by comparing it with percutaneous dilative tracheostomy (PDT), modified percutaneous dilative tracheostomy (MPDT), and percutaneous dilative tracheostomy with fiberoptic bronchoscope (PDT-FOB). ⋯ It was proved that MPRDT-FOB to be a time-saving, easy-to-operate way with few complication. Moreover, it was able to deal with the problems of the tracheal wall injury or perforation, tracheoesophageal fistula, and hypoxia. Hence, it was better than PDT, MPDT, and PDT-FOB.

Randomized Controlled Trial[Effect of different transpulmonary pressures guided mechanical ventilation on respiratory and hemodynamics of patients with ARDS: a prospective randomized controlled trial].
To assess the effect of different transpulmonary pressures (Ptp) guided mechanical ventilation (MV) on respiratory function and hemodynamics parameters of patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), and to find out a more optimized Ptp. ⋯ MV guided by Ptp of 10 cmH2O could improve oxygenation and respiratory mechanics, while has less hemodynamic influence. It was a safe and effective cardiopulmonary protection ventilation method.
