Review[In the United Kingdom, volunteer caregivers to reinforce COVID vaccination teams].
The United Kingdom, like many countries, is strongly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The vaccination campaign was launched last December. Ghislaine Young, a nurse, and Jim Hodgson, a general practitioner, both retired, are offering their services as vaccinators to help fight this epidemic. By the end of Febuary 2021, more than 20 million people had already been vaccinated.

South Africa is the sub-Saharan African country most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Health professionals, particularly nurses, are strongly mobilised to fight the epidemic and care for the sick. In addition to their conditions and overwork, many health care workers are infected with severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2, which causes illness and death. With the threat of a second epidemic wave, this complicated health situation could deteriorate further.

Review[Nepal earthquake: nursing missions in Paris and Kathmandu].
A violent earthquake hit Nepal on 25th April 2015, injuring and killing thousands. A nurse manager and a nurse, both working in anaesthesia and reservists in the French Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Organisation, describe their mission: one working in the crisis centre in Paris, the other on the ground, providing assistance to French victims.

Pierre is currently working in the intensive care unit (ICU). The rules for visitors are strict. ⋯ Standards of hygiene have to be respected carefully. This evening Pierre accompanies the husband of a Japanese tourist whose health is in a critical condition.
