Review[Focus on the various techniques of anaesthesia in ophthalmologic surgery].
Ophthalmologic surgery is not a vital one. It mostly concerns patients in extreme ages: children and old people. The risk of anaesthesia mainly depends on the health conditions of the patient. ⋯ We find it safe, efficacisious and economical. Regional anaesthesia is preferred to general anaesthesia especially in the surgery of dacryocystitis and ptosis. General anaesthesia in stell indicated in case of children.

Review Case Reports[Reexpansion pulmonary edema a vacuo: a case report and literature review].
Reexpansion pulmonary edema is a rare and potentially lethal complication with a 15 to 20% mortality. We report one case of pulmonary edema after evacuation of spontaneous right pneumothorax The pathophysiology of reexpansion pulmonary edema remains obscure; mechanical and inflammatory processes (production of Inerleukin 8--and Leukotrienne B4) seem incriminated. Duration and seventy of lung collapse and the rate of reexpansion appear to be the main causes justifying preventive measures. Curative treatment is based on oxygenation and lower aspiration pressure.

Reactive arthritis are definied as steriles arthropathies using classic bacteriological techniques. They are due to extra articular infection and are often associated with HLA B27. ⋯ Several current works have underlined the interest of antibiotic therapy in the chlamydial reactive arthritis. Chronic forms can justify the use of anti-rheumatic drugs such as salazopyrine.

The alpha2-adrenoceptor agonists have several beneficial actions during the perioperative period. They exert a central sympatholytic action, improving haemodynamic stability in response to endotracheal intubation and surgical stress, reducing the anesthetic and opioid requirements and causing sedation, anxiolysis and analgesia. ⋯ Recent alpha2-adrenoceptor agonists with short duration of action (dexmedetomidine and mivazerol) are adapted for the administration to patients at high risk for coronary artery disease during surgery. The alpha2-adrenoceptor agonists have an analgesic action at several sites of the peripheral and central nervous system as well as the prolongation of epidurally or intrathecally administered local anesthetics and opioids.
