Randomized Controlled Trial[Immune and inflammation confusion in severe sepsis and effects of bi-immunomodulation therapy: a prospective, randomized, controlled clinical trial].
To investigate the immune and inflammation confusion state in severe sepsis and the effects of two way immunomodulation therapy with continuous blood purification (CBP), thymosin alpha1, and combined therapy of CBP and thymosin alpha(1). ⋯ Systemic inflammatory response and immunodepression exist simultaneously in severe sepsis. Thymosin alpha(1) increases the cellular immunity, and CBP bi-modulates the immune turbulence, reduces the inflammatory mediators, and ameliorates the immune homeostasis. These 2 therapies also improve the clinical prognosis and the combination of both would be more effective.

Randomized Controlled Trial[Optimal concentrations of sevoflurane and propofol for laryngeal mask airway insertion in Chinese boys of different ages].
To investigate the optimal concentrations of sevoflurane and propofol for laryngeal mask airway (LMA) insertion in Chinese boys of different ages. ⋯ The ED(50) level of P(ET)-sevoflurane or target effect site concentration with propofol for LMA insertion in Chinese boys decreases gradually along with the increase of age.

Randomized Controlled Trial[Analgesic and sedative effects of multimodal analgesia in stage of emergence after general anesthesia for cleft lip and/or palate prosthesis].
To investigate the effects of multimodal analgesia on analgesia and sedation during emergence of general anesthesia for cleft lip and/or palate surgery pediatric patients. ⋯ Multimodal analgesic regimen of infiltration of local anesthetic at surgical site and rectal paracetamol and intravenous fentanyl provides sufficient analgesia, minimizes the incidence of agitation after general anesthesia in cleft lip and/or palate surgery for children, increases the speed of referring patients in PACU, and ensures the safety of the postanaesthetic patients.
