Randomized Controlled Trial[Epidural analgesia in latent phase of labor: effects on length of labor and mode of delivery].
To compare the outcome of ropivacaine plus sufentanil for patient-controlled epidural analgesia between nulliparous women presenting in latent and active labor. ⋯ Compared with epidural analgesia in active phase of labor, early administration of epidural analgesia in latent phase did not prolong labor, however, the caesarean section rate was increased and instrumental delivery rate was decreased.

Randomized Controlled Trial[The best concentration ratio of propofol controlled-infusion combined with sevoflurane in anesthesia for patients undergoing laparoscopy].
To investigate the best concentration ratio of propofol controlled-infusion combined with sevoflurane in anesthesia for patients undergoing laparoscopy. ⋯ Propofol controlled-infusion at the concentration of 1 microg/ml with ETsevo at the concentration as 1 MAC is the best concentration ratio with low PONV rate and a possibility to prevent intra-operative awareness.

Randomized Controlled Trial[Effects of alprostadil and ulinastatin on inflammatory response and lung injury after cardiopulmonary bypass in pediatric patients with congenital heart diseases].
To investigate the therapeutic effects of alprostadil (Lipo-PGE1) and Ulinastatin on inflammatory response and lung injury after cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) in pediatric patients with congenital heart diseases. ⋯ Decreasing the inflammatory response after CPB, alprostadil and ulinastatin used during CPB effectively reduce the pulmonary injury via inhibition of the neutrophil activation and cytokines release.

Randomized Controlled Trial Comparative Study[Effects of fentanyl administrated nasally and intravenously in post-operative analgesia in pediatric children: a comparative study of 36 cases].
To observe the effectiveness and adverse reactions of fentanyl used by nasal infusion or intravenous injection in post-operative analgesia in pediatric patients. ⋯ There are not significant differences in the time needed to achieve the analgesic effect in the pediatric children who undergo lower abdomen surgery. Nasal administration of fentanyl needs a higher dose with a higher comfort and lower adverse reaction rate.

Randomized Controlled Trial Comparative Study[Comparison of lumbar plexus block and epidural block for elderly patients undergoing intertrochanteric femoral fracture surgery].
To compare the anesthesia efficacy, hemodynamics, recovery of passage of gas by anus and bladder function in elderly patients with operation of intertrochanteric femoral fracture with epidural or lumbar plexus block. ⋯ Both lumbar plexus block and epidural block provide satisfactory anesthetic efficacy for operation of intertrochanteric femoral fracture in elderly patients. Epidural block provide better efficacy, and lumbar plexus block shows faster recovery of digestive system and urinary system after operation.
