Randomized Controlled Trial[Cardioprotective effects of propofol and midazolam in children with congenital heart diseases undergoing open heart surgery].
To observe the cardioprotective effects of propofol and midazolam in children with congenital heart diseases undergoing open heart surgery. ⋯ Both propofol and midazolam have protective effects for the children with congenital heart diseases undergoing open heart surgery, and propofol is superior to midazolam in the cardioprotection.

Randomized Controlled Trial[Myocardial protective effect of Shenfu injection in patients undergoing valve replacement].
To investigate the myocardial protective effect of Shenfu injection in patients undergoing valve replacement. ⋯ Shenfu injection decreases the level of CK, CK-MB and cTnI, and reduces the myocardial injury.

Randomized Controlled Trial[Adenosine preconditioning reduces myocardial injury in patients undergoing off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting surgery].
To evaluate the effects of adenosine on reducing myocardial injuries in patients undergoing off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting (OPCAB). ⋯ OPCAB can cause myocardial injuries which can be reduced by adenosine preconditioning through the reduction of the release of CK-MB and cTnI.

Randomized Controlled Trial[Influence of stimulating different cords on the efficacy of infraclavicular brachial plexus block].
Stimulating lateral or posterior cord may produce different anesthesia extent because of different anatomical position of the two plexus at the infraclavicular region. We To explore the difference in the efficacy of infraclavicular brachial plexus block by stimulating different cords of the infraclavicular brachial plexus. ⋯ Stimulating the posterior cord guided by nerve stimulator increases the efficacy of infraclavicular brachial plexus block compared with stimulating the lateral cord.

Randomized Controlled Trial[Effect of hydroxyethyl starch 130/0.4 on S100B protein level and cerebral oxygen metabolism in open cardiac surgery under cardiopulmonary bypass].
To observe the effect of hydroxyethyl starch (HES) 130/0.4 on S100B protein level and cerebral metabolism of oxygen in open cardiac surgery under cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) and to explore whether it has the protective effect of 6%HES130/0.4 as priming solution on cerebral injury during CPB and explore the probable mechanism. ⋯ S100B protein increases significantly in open cardiac surgery under CPB. HES130/0.4 lowers the S100B protein levels from the beginning of CPB to one hour after the termination of CPB with the probable mechanism of improving the cerebral metabolism of oxygen. 6%HES130/0.4 as priming solution may play a protective role in reduction of cerebral injury during CPB and open cardiac surgery.
