Randomized Controlled Trial Multicenter Study[Clinical trial with a new immunomodulatory strategy: treatment of severe sepsis with Ulinastatin and Maipuxin].
To evaluate the efficacy of treatment of severe sepsis by combining anti-inflammatory and immune-enhancing agents. ⋯ Treatment by the combining anti-inflammatory and immune enhancing agents can significantly improve the outcome of severe sepsis. The efficacy of this therapy seems to be dose dependent on.

Randomized Controlled Trial[Effects of preconditioning and postconditioning on emergency percutaneous coronary intervention in patients with acute myocardial infarction].
Postconditioning is a novel approach to myocardial protection during ischemia reperfusion. To investigate the effects of preconditioning and postconditioning on coronary blood flow velocity and prognosis of the patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) undergoing emergency percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). ⋯ A simple and operative procedure to improve the coronary blood flow velocity and heart function and reduce the production of free oxygen radicals, postconditioning can be used clinically widely so as to better the prognosis of AMI.

Randomized Controlled Trial[Impact of propofol on the optimal sedative depth in patients undergoing gastroscopy].
To explore the optimal sedative depth and adequate bispectral index (BIS) value in patients undergoing gastroscopy treated with propofol and to explore the maneuverability and practicability of using BIS value as a variable to control the infusion of propofol. ⋯ It is safe, reliable and feasible to regulate the sedative depth and the dosage of propofol infusion with the BIS monitor. The optimal BIS value in patients undergoing gastroscopy is from 55 to 64.

Randomized Controlled Trial Multicenter Study[A comparison of T3 sympathectomy versus T4 sympathectomy in the treatment of primary palmer hyperhidrosis].
To evaluate the effect and side effect of T(3) versus T(4) sympathectomy in the surgical management of primary palmar hyperhidrosis through prospective multi-center randomized controlled trial. ⋯ The procedure of T(3) or T(4) sympathectomy, both transecting the sympathetic chain in one single position in relatively lower segment, are comparatively effective in the treatment of primary palmar hyperhidrosis, but T(4) sympathectomy shows less side effect.

Randomized Controlled Trial[Effects of blood washing and autotransfusion during cardiopulmonary bypass on erythrocyte immune and kidney function].
To study changes of erythrocyte immune and kidney function after autotransfusion washed red blood cells during cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB). ⋯ Autotransfusion of washed red blood cells during CPB may improve significantly the erythrocyte immune function and protect kidney function better than transfusion of residual blood in the extracorporal machine or banked blood.
