Randomized Controlled Trial
[Effect of transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation combined with epidural labor analgesia on postpartum depression].
To observe the effect of transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation (TEAS)combined with epidural analgesia on postpartum depression and to explore its underlying mechanism. ⋯ TEAS combined with epidural analgesia can reduce the incidence of postpartum depression, possibly by down-regulating plasma glutamate level and relieving of labor pain.

Randomized Controlled Trial
[Transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation relieves post-operative nausea and vomiting possibly by reducing serum motilin secretion in patients undergoing laparoscopic surgery].
To observe the effect of transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation (TEAS) of different acupoint combinations on postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV) and serum motilin (MTL) content in patients undergoing laparoscopic surgery, so as to provide evidence for clinical selection of suitable acupoint compatibility. ⋯ TEAS has a preventive effect on PONV in patients undergoing laparoscopic surgery, which may be related to its effect in reducing serum MTL concentration. The preventive effect of TEAS of PC6 + LI4 + ST36 and PC6 +LI4 + ST36 + SP6 is similar and better than TG2 (two acupoints) group.

Randomized Controlled Trial
[Comparision of therapertic effect of different acupuncture methods for knee osteoarthritis].
To compare the clinical efficacy of acupuncture, electroacupuncture (EA) and moxibustion in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis (KOA). ⋯ All the three different kinds of acupuncture and moxibustion methods have positively regulatory effect on KOA, and moxibustion is the best for reducing the joint pain and stiffness, and improving the motor function.

Randomized Controlled Trial
[Clinical effect of thunder-fire moxibustion combined with electroacupuncture in the treatment of cold-dampness knee osteoarthritis: a randomized controlled trial].
To investigate the clinical effect of thunder-fire moxibustion combined with electroacupuncture in the treatment of cold-dampness knee osteoarthritis. ⋯ Thunder-fire moxibustion combined with electroacupuncture has a better, more durable clinical effect and fewer adverse reactions than the drugs in the treatment of cold-dampness knee osteoarthritis.

Randomized Controlled Trial
[Effect of transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation on pulmonary function and oxidative stress response in lower extremity surgery patients using tourniquet].
To investigate the effect of transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation (TEAS) on pulmonary function, superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity, and malondialdehyde (MDA) content in patients using tourniquet after lower extremity surgery. ⋯ TEAS at ST36 and SP6 can improve pulmonary function and attenuate oxidative stress response in patients using tourniquet after lower extremity surgery.
