Review Case ReportsSomatic symptom disorder in the context of Chinese yin-yang culture: A case report and literature review.
Somatic symptom disorder (SSD) is a somatic disorder characterized by excessive anxiety over various somatic symptoms for a long time, which makes patients feel very painful and the quality of personal life significantly decreased. Previous studies have shown that there is a connection between the clinical manifestations of SSD patients and their cultural background. The patient in this case report was highly affected by Chinese yin-yang culture, displaying obvious Chinese characteristics. ⋯ The clinical manifestations of some Chinese SSD patients have obvious characteristic relevance to Chinese theory of Yin and Yang, making SSD easily to be misdiagnosed. Therefore, clinicians should pay atlention to this situation. In addition, the combination of venlafaxine and mirtazapine may have a better effect on SSD patients with chronic pain and sexual dysfunction.

ReviewPotential pathogenesis of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2.
The emergence of novel coronavirus pneumonia which was named as coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) by the World Health Organization, caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), has posed a serious threat to public health. Notably, COVID-19 has rapidly spread around the world and large amount of people have been infected. ⋯ Angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2), previously known as a cell receptor of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus (SARS-CoV), is putatively responsible for mediating COVID-19. In this review, we detail our current understanding of the interaction between S protein and ACE2 in the process of virus infection and the potential pathogenesis of SARS-CoV-2, which has critical implications for exploring the potential therapeutic strategies for COVID-19.

Review Case Reports[Pulmonary veno-occlusive disease/pulmonary capillary hemangiomatosis: A case report and literature review].
Pulmonary veno-occlusive disease (PVOD)/pulmonary capillary hemangiomatosis (PCH) is a rare form of pulmonary vascular disease that causes pulmonary arterial hypertension. The diagnosis of PVOD/PCH can be established by the combination of clinical features, physical examination, radiological findings, lung function, bronchoscopy and other resources. ⋯ A girl with PVOD/PCH was diagnosed in the Second Xiangya Hospital. Combining the characteristics for this case with the relevant literature, we summarized the epidemiology, etiology, diagnosis and treatment for the disease to raise doctors' awareness for this rare disease.

ReviewRadiomics in gliomas: A promising assistance for glioma clinical research.
Gliomas are the most common brain primary tumors worldwide, which is the earliest sequenced cancer gene in the Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) project. The World Health Organization Classification Update of Central Nervous System (CNS) Tumors 2016 highlights that glioma is the first tumor classified based on both of the molecular markers and histology. ⋯ In this review, the radiomic analysis methods applied in gliomas are highlighted. Some remarkable findings confirm the considerable potential of radiomics in clinical cancer research.

Review Case Reports[Review of 2 cases of severe infection with pulmonary Strongyloides stercoralis].
To improve the understanding of pulmonary Strongyloides stercoralis. ⋯ The farmers were the main infected people. Patients with basic diseases or with immunosuppression due to long-term glucocorticoid treatment tend to infect and even die after the infection with Strongyloides stercoralis. Eosinophil granulocyte reduction shows poor prognosis, which needs early diagnosis and treatment.
