[Automatic classification method of arrhythmia based on discriminative deep belief networks].
Existing arrhythmia classification methods usually use manual selection of electrocardiogram (ECG) signal features, so that the feature selection is subjective, and the feature extraction is complex, leaving the classification accuracy usually affected. Based on this situation, a new method of arrhythmia automatic classification based on discriminative deep belief networks (DDBNs) is proposed. The morphological features of heart beat signals are automatically extracted from the constructed generative restricted Boltzmann machine (GRBM), then the discriminative restricted Boltzmann machine (DRBM) with feature learning and classification ability is introduced, and arrhythmia classification is performed according to the extracted morphological features and RR interval features. ⋯ For training sets and test sets with inconsistent data sources, a small number of training sets are extended by the active learning (AL) method, and the overall classification accuracy of the method is up to 99.31% ± 0.23%. The experimental results show the effectiveness of the method in arrhythmia automatic feature extraction and classification. It provides a new solution for the automatic extraction of ECG signal features and classification for deep learning.

[Research on algorithms for identifying the severity of acute respiratory distress syndrome patients based on noninvasive parameters].
Acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) is a serious threat to human life and health disease, with acute onset and high mortality. The current diagnosis of the disease depends on blood gas analysis results, while calculating the oxygenation index. However, blood gas analysis is an invasive operation, and can't continuously monitor the development of the disease. ⋯ The performance of the algorithm is evaluated according to the number of features. When using 2 features, Bagging has AUC = 0.819 4 and the accuracy is 73.01%. Compared with traditional methods, this method has the advantage of continuously monitoring the development of patients with ARDS and providing medical staff with auxiliary diagnosis suggestions.

Review[Research progress on key technology of power and signal transmission in neuroprosthetic].
The power and signal transmission technology is one of the key technologies in neuroprosthetic research. This paper proposes firstly the related theory of power and signal transmission technology in neuroprosthetic, then summarizes the three key aspects of the power and signal transmission technology in neuroprosthetic. After analyzed the development of the inductive wireless power harvesting technology, the wireless telemetry technology and the wireless power harvesting telemetry technology, the emphasis on research contents will be proposed and discussed, which will help accelerate the further research of prosthetic.

Review[Systematic review of transfusion strategies for cardiac surgery].
This paper is aimed to assess the effects of red blood cell (RBC) transfusion on clinical outcomes in cardiac surgery. Trials were identified by computer searches of the Pubmed, MEDLINE, Cochrane Library (Issue 10, 2012), from January 1980 to October 2012. References in identified trials and review articles were checked and experts contacted to identify any additional trials. ⋯ No significant difference was noted between the two strategies in terms of mortality, adverse events and hospital or intensive care length of stay. Based on the results mentioned above, one can draw a conclusion that restrictive transfusion strategies reduced the risk of receiving RBC transfusion and the volume of RBCs transfused. Restrictive transfusion strategies did not appear to impact on the rate of adverse events and hospital or intensive care length of stay, compared to liberal transfusion strategies.

Review[Research and application of cardiopulmonary-cerebral resuscitation].
A novel concept of cardiopulmonary-cerebral resuscitation (CPCR) has been proposed, in which a combination of technologies of the membrane artificial lung, mild hypothermia, centrifugal blood pump, heparin coated surfaces and blood shunting have been used. The present paper introduces the modern conception, history of CPCR, with emphasis on the brain(cerebral) resuscitation. Importance of extracorporeal membrane oxygenation, mild hypothermia and centrifugal blood pump in cerebral resuscitation has been emphasized. Thereupon the new idea of the novel CPCR has been proposed and the design and laboratory manufacture of the equipment of CPCR will be carried out.
