[Frequency of diabetic retinopathy and associated factors in Puerto Montt, Chile].
Diabetic retinopathy (DR) is an important cause of decreased visual acuity, whose prevalence has increased between 1990 and 2020. In Chile the prevalence of diabetic retinopathy was estimated at 24.8%. ⋯ DR was associated with worse metabolic parameters and the presence of neuropathy in this case control study.

[Artificial intelligence fuzzy system for the design of confinements during quarantines].
Different modalities of quarantines were one of the main measures implemented worldwide to avoid the spread of SARS-CoV2 virus. ⋯ Using an artificial intelligence system could improve decision-making transparency, emergency governance, and risk communication to the population.

[Frequency of glomerular diseases in an analysis of 550 kidney biopsies].
The frequency of glomerular diseases is dynamic and varies according to geographic area. ⋯ The most common primary glomerulopathies were membranous nephropathy and IgA nephropathy. Among the secondary glomerulopathies lupus nephropathy and pauci-immune glomerulonephritis were the most common. Compared to international registries, we observed a high proportion of membranous nephropathy and pauci-immune glomerulonephritis.

[Implementation of postgraduate and undergraduate teaching with simulated patients in Psychiatry].
Clinical simulation is a strategy with broad support especially when face-to-face medical attention is difficult. In Psychiatry, the use and availability of simulation is lower than in other medical specialties, even for remote teaching. ⋯ Simulation in Psychiatry does not replace face-to-face practical teaching, but it is a transitional and complementary method for clinical activities.

Case Reports[Septic shock originating from a pulmonary focus caused by Pasteurella multocida. Report of one case].
Pasteurella multocida is a gram-negative coccobacillus bacterium found as a commensal in the oropharynx of domestic animals such as cats and dogs and some farm animals. Soft tissue infections and occasionally bacteremia in immunocompromised patients with direct contact with animals are described. ⋯ Blood cultures disclosed the presence of Pasteurella multocida. He responded successfully to antimicrobials.
