Review Case Reports[Primary testicular NK/T cell lymphoma. Case report and review of literature].
Natural killer/T cell lymphomas chiefly involving the midline facial structures including the nasal cavity or nasopharyns are a relatively rare type of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Apart from the upper respiratory tract, the disease occasionally presents in certain extranodal sites, such as the central nervous system, skin, gastrointestinal tract, or testes. We report a case of natural killer NK/T cell lymphoma as a testicular tumor in a 36-year-old man with a history of progressive swelling of his right testicle. ⋯ There were no abnormal findings in the nasal and nasopharyngeal regions. Classified as stage IEA, the patient received involved-field irradiation to contralateral testis (45 Gy), followed by systemic chemotherapy with a combination regimen ofL-asparaginase, methotrexate and dexamethasone. Relevant literature is reviewed, and the clinicopathologic features, natural history, and treatment options for primary testicular NK/T cell lymphoma are discussed.

[Putative mechanisms of action of electronvulsive therapy in affective disorders, a review].
The mechanisms of action (MA) of electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) in affective disorders are poorly understood. We synthesized and discussed the evidence provided by primary studies and systematic reviews in humans. There are differences in the methylation of candidate genes involved in the response to ECT. ⋯ In PMDD, multiple inflammatory mediators were associated with the clinical response (natural killer cells, tumor necrosis and growth factors, and interleukins 1, 4, 6, 10,1β). Likewise, some structures and circuits consistently involved at the morphological and functional level are the default mode network, cognitive control networks, frontal, temporal, cingulate, occipital and temporal cortices, frontal, temporal, precentral, fusiform and left angular gyri, hippocampus, thalamus and amygdala. Investigations are mostly focused on PMDD, are observational, and their samples limited, but they show relatively consistent results with clinical significance.

Food insecurity in Chilean university students during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Food and nutrition were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, increasing levels of food insecurity. University students were a risk group for food insecurity due to the closure of educational establishments where they received their main meals. ⋯ Undergraduate students are vulnerable to food insecurity. Mitigation actions should be carried out when educational establishments are closed.

[The impact of the different waves of COVID-19 pandemic in Chile across regions].
The effects of COVID-19 in Chile changed over time and among regions. ⋯ These results emphasize the need to consider regional differences and the temporal context for the elaboration of strategies to the efficient management of a pandemic.

Observational Study[Use of medicinal plants among older people attending a public primary care center].
The use of medicinal plants is common among a significant part of the elderly population. In addition, at present, the use of medicinal plants has been introduced in Primary Health Care centers, and is becoming increasingly popular, especially in this population. ⋯ The results reinforce the importance of knowing the plant species used by the population and the correct orientation on their rational use, potential benefits, adverse effects and interactions.
