in 2014, Tanzania introduced the combined measles-rubella vaccine in the routine immunization schedule. Two doses of measles-rubella vaccine (MR1 and MR2) are recommended at 9 and 18 months, respectively. In 2015, MR2 coverage among eligible 18-month-old children in Tanzania was only 57%, lower than the WHO-recommended coverage (95%). During the same period Mtwara District Council (MDC) reported a coverage of 52% which is lower than the nation average. We determined factors associated with non-uptake of MR2 among children in MDC Tanzania. ⋯ more than half the children under five years in MDC were not vaccinated with MR2. Lack of caretaker knowledge about appropriate vaccination age, unavailability of vaccine, having insufficient numbers of children waiting to warrant multidose vial use, and long clinic waiting times were associated with MR2 non-uptake. The community should receive education about MR vaccine; we recommend thorough screening of children?s vaccination status at each clinic visit and provision of vaccine whenever possible. Vaccine distribution should be improved in MDC.

Road traffic accidents are leading cause of injuries and deaths globally. Low income economies are the most affected. Most causes of RTA are predictable and preventable. This study describes trends and causes of road traffic accidents in Anambra State, South Eastern Nigeria. ⋯ Leading causes of road traffic accidents are human factors; speed violation, loss of vehicle control and dangerous driving which are sadly preventable. Sensitization and enforcement of safe road principles among commercial vehicles and car drivers will help curb this menace. Government at all levels should implement strong policies aimed at reducing the speed of vehicles on roads.

Pneumococcal meningitis is a global scourge. It is a major cause of morbidity and mortality. In Morocco, 13-valent pneumococcal conjugate vaccine (PCV13) was introduced into the National Immunization Program in October 2010 according to the immunization schedule 2 + 1 and replaced by PCV10 in July 2012, according to the same schedule. ⋯ We report the case of an infant vaccinated with two doses of PCV13 with meningitis caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae serotype 7a. The peculiarity of this case study lies in pneumococcal meningitis due to Streptococcus pneumoniae serotype 7a not included in the PCV13 in an infant immunized by 2 doses of PCV13. We here insist on the need and the importance of an observatory for pneumococcal meningitis and of a wide epidemiological study in order to determine the serotypes in Morocco after the introduction of PCV13 and then of PCV10.

Review Meta Analysis Comparative Study
The efficacy of Mohs micrographic surgery over the traditional wide local excision surgery in the cure of dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans.
Usually most patients with dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans (DFSP) may present rather late when the tumor is in protuberant phase due to its rarity and indolent onset. It has a high propensity for local recurrence and destructive nature. Management of DFSP requires a biopsychosocial and Multidisplinary approach regardless of the clinical or immunohistochemical variant. ⋯ The expected increased recurrence rate by zones was in WLE head and neck zone at 38.19% then trunk and extremities zone at 13.34%. In the MMS group it was at of 23.4% as compared to 16.0% in the head and neck zone. Mohs Micrographic Surgery (MMS) is more efficacious in the cure rate and recurrence reduction of DFSP and should be advocated for as first line therapy especially in high recurrence prone zones.

Traumatic anterior hip dislocation with associated bilateral femoral fractures in a child: a case report and review of the literature.
Traumatic anterior hip dislocation is rare, because the hip joint is a highly stable joint. It is extremely rare for the anterior hip dislocation with combined bilateral femoral fracture in children. We present a case of 7-year-old boy with traumatic anterior hip dislocation with associated bilateral femoral fractures. ⋯ Radiographs at 3 months, at 6 months showed the fractures healed well and hardware were removed respectively. However, irregularities of the femoral head meaned avascular necrosis of the femoral head. This case stresses the importance of a rapid evaluation and treatment for the dislocation of the hip, providing a stable reduction and a firm internal fixation of the associated fractures.
