The case of 60 years old man with oncocytoma in parotid gland is reported. According to the available literature there is less than 200 cases reported.

[What do we know about Ludwig van Beethoven's deafness?].
The authors described some details from the life of Beethoven, emphasizing his problem linked with his progressive deafness. The etiology of the deafness is not known. The authors discussed their own hypothesis of "music language".

The orbitozygomatic craniotomy was presented in resection of giant tumour of maxillary-ethmoidal region, orbital cavity and anterior cranial fossa. As a result of this approach the possibility of whole tumour resection was obtained. Also, easy closure of anterior fossa and avoidance of the facial deformation was achieved.

Osteomas are relatively common, benign, slow-growing neoplasms. Mainly occurring in frontal and ethmoid sinuses. Endoscopic surgery plays an important role in management of ethmoid, sphenoid and frontal osteomas. ⋯ Size of tumor determines type of surgical aprroach. Endoscopic surgery is more and more popular way in surgical treatment of giant osteomas.

[Acute laryngeal dyspnea in the patient with botulism cured in 2001 year in ENT Department Hospital in Kalisz].
The authors presented symptoms of botulism, diagnostics and treatment. In this case there was a necessity of urgent tracheotomy. The authors had good results because of early treatment with serum antibotulism A+B+C and symptomatic treatment. Decannulation was only after 45 days because the paralytic symptoms declined very slowly.
