Radiologic Assessment of Lung Edema Score as a Predictor of Clinical Outcome in Children with Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome.
The radiographic assessment of lung edema (RALE) score enables objective quantification of lung edema and is a valuable prognostic marker of adult acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). We aimed to evaluate the validity of RALE score in children with ARDS. ⋯ The RALE score is a reliable measure for ARDS severity and a useful prognostic marker of mortality in children, especially for ARDS-specific mortality. This score provides information that clinicians can use to decide the proper time of aggressive therapy targeting severe lung injury and to appropriately manage the fluid balance of children with ARDS.

Impact of Atrial Fibrillation on Patients Undergoing Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI): The K-TAVI Registry.
The incidence and prognostic implications of atrial fibrillation (AF) in patients with severe aortic stenosis (AS) undergoing transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) are controversial, especially for Korean patients. Furthermore, the pattern of antithrombotic therapy for these patients is unknown. The present study sought to identify the impact of AF on Korean patients undergoing TAVI and demonstrate the status of antithrombotic therapy for these patients. ⋯ AF was an independent predictor of 1-year mortality and new pacemaker insertion in Korean patients undergoing TAVI.

Changes in the Utilization of Health Care Services by Cancer Patients during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
The first year of the COVID-19 pandemic in Korea elicited changes in healthcare service utilization. This study aimed to report changes in healthcare service utilization among cancer patients during the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic in Korea. ⋯ During the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic, the number of newly diagnosed cancer patients decreased by 3.2%, compared to the previous year, and their utilization of healthcare services declined significantly after the outbreak of COVID-19.

Altered Low Frequency Heart Rate Variability Associated with Agoraphobia in Panic Disorder: A Retrospective Study.
This study aimed to compare the clinical features of panic disorder (PD) with comorbid agoraphobia to those of PD alone. We focused on autonomic nervous system (ANS) alterations reflected in heart rate variability (HRV) and executive function deficits reflected in the Stroop test. ⋯ Our results do not support that executive function deficits and ANS alterations are more pronounced with comorbid agoraphobia among PD groups. However, PD with agoraphobia patients showed more complex and severe clinical symptoms in their self-reports. Compared with the subclinical group, PD patients with agoraphobia showed specific features in the natural logarithm of low-frequency HRV. Our findings suggest that agoraphobia comorbidity should be considered when evaluating or treating patients with PD.

Prediction of Stent Failure for Malignant Ureteral Obstruction in Non-Urological Cancer.
To analyze prognostic factors associated with ureteral stent failure and to develop a prediction model for malignant ureteral obstruction (MUO) in patients with non-urological cancers. ⋯ In cases of ureteral obstruction caused by non-urological cancers, patients with bladder invasion and a low eGFR showed poor stent failure-free survival. Therefore, PCN should be considered the primary procedure for these patients.
