Multicenter StudyOptimal PSA Threshold for Androgen-Deprivation Therapy in Patients with Prostate Cancer following Radical Prostatectomy and Adjuvant Radiation Therapy.
The benefits of early administration of androgen-deprivation therapy (ADT) in patients with prostate-specific antigen (PSA)-only recurrent prostate cancer (PCa) following radical prostatectomy (RP) are controversial. We investigated the impact of early versus delayed ADT on survival outcomes in patients with non-metastatic, localized or locally advanced PCa who received radiation therapy (RT) following RP and later developed distant metastasis. ⋯ Early ADT at the PSA level of less than 2 ng/mL confers CSS benefits in patients with localized or locally advanced PCa who were previously treated with RP.

Survival Trend of HIV/AIDS Patients Starting Antiretroviral Therapy in South Korea between 2001 and 2015.
In the recent antiretroviral therapy (ART) era, a large proportion of Korean patients with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection were shown to have low CD4 cell counts at diagnosis and during ART initiation. We investigated the survival trends in patients living with HIV/acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) in Korea who started ART in the 2000s, and evaluated the risk factors for mortality to elucidate the association between survival and low CD4 cell counts at ART initiation. ⋯ Despite excellent HIV care available in the recent ART era, the survival of patients with HIV/AIDS undergoing ART did not improve between 2001 and 2015 in Korea.

Network Analysis of Language Disorganization in Patients with Schizophrenia.
Language disorganization, an objective component of formal thought process abnormality, has been regarded as a core symptom of schizophrenia from an evolutionary psychopathology perspective. However, to the best of our knowledge, the network structure of language disorganization has rarely been examined in patients with schizophrenia. Thus, our preliminary study aimed to evaluate the network structure using the Clinical Language Disorder Rating Scale (CLANG) in 167 inpatients with schizophrenia. ⋯ We deemed that disclosure failure and prosody problems are the most important symptoms of language disorder in schizophrenia. Thus, reduced top-down processing of linguistic information may be a core neurobiological underpinning of language disorganization in schizophrenia. Further studies controlling for the potential effects of confounding factors (i.e., duration of illness) on network analyses of language disorder and formal thought disorder are warranted in patients with schizophrenia.

Rituximab Biosimilar Prevents Poor Outcomes of Microscopic Polyangiitis and Granulomatosis with Polyangiitis as Effectively as Rituximab Originator.
There has been no extensive study to compare the efficacy between rituximab originator (Mabthera®) and its biosimilar (Truxima®) for microscopic polyangiitis (MPA) and granulomatosis with polyangiitis (GPA). Here, we investigated the clinical effects of rituximab on poor outcomes of MPA and GPA in Korean patients, and compared those between Mabthera® and Truxima®. ⋯ Truxima® prevents poor outcomes of MPA and GPA as effectively as does Mabthera®.
