The Impact of Visual Impairment on Healthcare Use among Four Medical Institution Types: A Nationwide Retrospective Cohort Study in Korea.
The aim of this study was to determine the effect of visual impairment (VI) onset on the use of healthcare services across four types of institutions in South Korea. ⋯ Our findings suggest economic burden of healthcare in tertiary teaching hospitals during pre-VI onset period and a potential lack of regular management and continuity of care in post-VI periods.

Relationship between Time Elapsed Since Pain Onset and Efficacy of Pain Relief in Patients Undergoing Lumbar Percutaneous Epidural Adhesiolysis.
The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between pain duration and pain relief after epidural adhesiolysis. ⋯ Pain lasting ≥3 years prior to lumbar epidural adhesiolysis was associated with worse outcomes in terms of pain relief. Therefore, this intervention should be considered early before pain chronification in patients with low back pain.

Testosterone to Luteinizing Hormone Ratio as a Potential Predictor of Sperm Retrieval in Non-Obstructive Azoospermia Patients.
This study assessed the outcomes of microsurgical testicular sperm extraction (mTESE) and potential preoperative predictors of sperm retrieval (SR) in patients with non-obstructive azoospermia (NOA). ⋯ In addition to traditional predictors, such as testicular volume and preoperative FSH levels, the T/LH ratio is a potential independent predictor of successful SR in infertile patients with NOA.
