Meta Analysis[Meta-analysis on efficacy and safety of Brucea javanica oil emulsion injection combined with chemotherapy for patients with advanced gastric carcinoma].
Eligible studies were searched in Cochrane library, Pubmed, Medline, CBM, CNKI and VIP databases from establishment to June 2014. Two researchers independently identified 7 randomized controlled trials (RCTs) and extracted data of Brucea javanica oil emulsion injection combined with chemotherapy. Based on the published studies, the researchers analyzed them by RevMan 5.2 software and investigated the efficacy and safety of Brucea javanica oil emulsion injection combined with chemotherapy for patients with advanced gastric cancer by Meta analysis. ⋯ In addition, the incidence of neutropenia (RR=0.56, P<0.001), thrombocytopenia (RR=0.64, P=0.02), nausea, vomit (RR=0.66, P=0.002) decreased in these patients. However, the quality of life was not improved significantly in gastric carcinoma patients with combined therapy (RR=1.36, P=0.07). The paper suggested Brucea javanica oil emulsion injection combined with chemotherapy could increase efficacy and safety, which might be a promising therapy for patients with advanced gastric cancer.

Meta Analysis[Incidence rate of adverse reaction/event by Qingkailing injection: a Meta-analysis of single rate].
To systematically review the incidence rate of adverse drug reaction/event by Qingkailing injection. Such databases as the PubMed, EMbase, the Cochrane library, CNKI, VIP WanFang data and CBM were searched by computer from foundation to July 30, 2015. Two reviewers independently screened literature according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, extracted data and cross check data. ⋯ Subgroup analysis showed that different types of adverse reactions, combination in the incidence of adverse reactions/events were higher than that of single drug, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). This study suggested the influence factors of adverse reactions occur, and clinical rational drug use, such as combination, age and other fators, and the influence factors vary in different populations. Therefore, clinical doctors for children and the elderly use special care was required for a clear and open spirit injection, the implementation of individualized medication.

Meta Analysis[Network meta-analysis on selecting Chinese medical injections in radiotherapy for esophageal cancer].
To assess the clinical effect and safety of Chinese traditional medicine injection combined with radiotherapy for esophageal cancer. The relative randomized controlled trials (RCTs) of Chinese medical injections (CMI) combined with radiotherapy as well as simple radiotherapy for esophageal cancer were searched from PubMed, Cochrane Library, EMBASE, Chinese Biomedical Literature Database(CBM), China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), Wanfang Database and VIP Database as at September 2014. Two researchers completed the data extraction and quality evaluation independently. ⋯ Aidi or compound sophora injections were better than other CMIs in reducing? the incidences of nausea (III-IV) and leukopenia. More RCTs of Shenqi Fuzheng and astragalus polysaccharide injections combined with radiotherapy for patients with esophageal cancer were expected in the future to confirm our results. Moreover, study findings will be reported, particularly for the adverse events in radiotherapy for esophageal cancer.

Review Meta Analysis[Dengzhan Xixin injection as an adjuvant treatment for angina pectoris: a systematic review and Meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials].
The paper is to systematically evaluate the efficacy and safety of Deng Zhan Xi Xin injection ( DZXXI) as an adjuvant treatment for patients with angina pectoris. The Cochrane Library, Medline, EMbase, CBM, CNKI, VIP, and Wan fang Data base were searched. Randomized controlled trials (RCTs) of DZXXI combined with western medicine routine treatment versus western medicine routine treatment alone for angina pectoris patients were all included. ⋯ Funnel figure seemed that there was publication bias. The current limited evidence showed that when compared with the control group, treatment group was superior in improving patients with angina pectoris. But based on the limitations of the study, rigorous design with long follow up clinical trials are necessary for further evidence.

Meta Analysis[Systematic evaluation for efficacy of tripterygium glycosides in treating diabetic nephropathy stage IV].
To systematically evaluate the efficacy and safety of tripterygium glycosides (TG) combined with ACEI/ARB preparation in treating diabetic nephropathy stage IV. The computer retrievals were made in Cochrane Libarary, PubMed, Embase, SCI, Sinnomed, CNKI, Chinainfo and VIP, and hand retrievals were conducted for meeting and academic papers (updated to December 30, 2014), in order to collect randomized controlled trials and quasi-randomized control trials for TG combined with ACEI/ARB preparation in treating diabetic nephropathy stage IV and set the literature inclusion and elimination standards. Eligible literatures were included and evaluated according to standards in Cochrane Handbook. ⋯ The Egger's test showed no publication bias. Tripterygium Glycosides combined with ACEI/ARB in treating diabetic nephropathy stage IV is supper than the single administration of ACEI/ARB, with a good prospect in clinical application. Nevertheless, due to the small-size and low-quality samples in this study, more high-quality and large sample-size randomized controlled trials shall be conducted to verify the findings.
