Randomized Controlled Trial[The effect of liraglutide in combination with human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells treatment on glucose metabolism and β cell function in type 2 diabetes mellitus].
To observe the effect of liraglutide (LIRA) in combination of umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells (hUC-MSCs) in treating type 2 diabetes mellitus. ⋯ LIRA treatment in combination with hUC-MSCs improves glucose metabolism and the β cell function in type 2 diabetic patients. (ClinicalTrials.gov NCT01954147).

Randomized Controlled Trial[The efficacy and safety of human glucagon-like peptide-1 analogue liraglutide in newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes with glycosylated hemoglobin A1c > 9].
To evaluate the efficacy and safety of human glucagon-like peptide-1 analogue liraglutide in newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) with glycosylated hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) > 9%. ⋯ It seems that liraglutide is superior to insulin glargine in newly diagnosed T2DM patients with HbA1c > 9% in improving beta-cell function, insulin sensitivity and glucose homeostasis.

Randomized Controlled Trial[Evaluation of the application of regional citrate anticoagulation in sustained low efficiency hemodialysis].
To compare the anticoagulation effect of regional citrate and heparin in patients with sustained low-efficiency hemodialysis (SLED). ⋯ The anticoagulation effect of regional citrate and heparin was similar in patients when receiving SLED.Regional citrate may be an alternative anticoagulant approach for the patients at high risk of bleeding who require the treatment of SLED.

Randomized Controlled Trial[The efficacy and safety of low-dose tiotropium bromide inhaled via Respimat® in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease].
To compare the efficacy and safety of long-term treatment (48 weeks) with tiotropium bromide (5 µg) via Respimat(®) with placebo in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). ⋯ Tiotropium significantly improved lung function and quality of life, delayed the time to first exacerbation, reduced the number of exacerbation. Overall, tiotropium was well tolerated.

Randomized Controlled Trial[The effects of prone position ventilation combined with recruitment maneuvers on outcomes in patients with severe acute respiratory distress syndrome].
To evaluate the effects of prone position ventilation combined with recruitment maneuvers (RM) on clinical outcomes in patients with severe acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). ⋯ In patients with severe ARDS, application of prolonged prone-positioning with RM sessions significantly improves the clinical outcomes.
