[Intervention study of compassion fatigue of oncology nurses in Balint group activities].
Objective: To explore the effectiveness of Balint group on compassion fatigue among oncology nurses. Methods: From January to December 2016, 35 oncology nurses from one general hospital were enrolled. 18 cases were allocated in the observation group and 17 cases in the control group by computer randomization. Nurses in the observation group were received a total of 8 times Balint Group activities, with 2 times a month and 1.5 hours each time, which is aiming to discuss difficult cases encountered in the clinic to help nurses have a deeper experience and a better understanding of the emotions and behaviors, fantasies and needs between nurse-patient interaction. ⋯ The level of compassion satisfaction in the observation group was higher, and the general health status was lower (P<0.05). There was no statistically difference in the level of burnout and secondary traumatic stress between two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion: Balint group has a positive role in promoting nurses'empathetic skills, compassion satisfaction and mental health.

[Effects of NF-κB inhibitor on nuclear factor-κB and intercellular adhesion moceule-1 in lung injury associated with radiation of rats].
Objective: To investigate the mechanism of lung injury caused by radiation-induced lung injury by observing the change of nuclear factor (NF-κB) and intercellular adhesion moceule-1 (ICAM-1) in rats and the effects of pyrrolidine dithiocarbamate (PDTC). Methods: 80 SD female rats were randomly classified into 4 groups: control group, radiation group, PDTC treatment group and PDTC group. The radiation induced pulmonary injury model was preformed by using 6 MV X-rays to deliver 8 Gy per day for 5 consecutive days with 40 Gy in total to the thorax of each animal. ⋯ Conclusion: The expression of ICAM-1mRNA and NF-κB p65mRNA is increased in rats with radiation-induced lung injury. Suggest that ICAM-1 and NF-κB are a key factor lead to radiation-induced lung injury. PDTC may inhibits NF-κB activity and further significantly deceases expression of ICAM-1, leading to significantly attenuated pulmonary inflammation and fibrosis, which provides a new therapeutic target for the prevention and treatment of radiation-induced lung injury.

[Risk factors for road traffic injury in agricultural vehicle drivers].
Objective: To examine the risk factors for road traffic injury in agricultural vehicle drivers. Methods: A total of 103 drivers (who had suffered agricultural vehicle road traffic injury within the past year based on the road traffic injury registrar from the Traffic Management Bureau) who were involved in the annual agricultural vehicle inspection from December 2014 to January 2015 were randomly sampled from the Yixing Agricultural Vehicle Station as the case group for this study. Based on a 1∶2 assignment ratio and matched for sex, age, and education, a total of 206 drivers who had not suffered any agricultural vehicle road traffic injury within the past year were selected as the control group. ⋯ Univariate logistic regression analysis showed that drinking, debt, pressure, history of car accident, history of drunk driving, smoking and phone use during driving, fatigue driving, and driving with illness were the risk factors for road traffic injury in agricultural vehicle drivers (OR=2.332, 2.429, 19.778, 5.589, 8.517, 2.125, 3.203, 10.249 and 5.639, respectively). Multivariate logistic regression analysis also demonstrated that pressure, history of car accident, history of drunk driving, fatigue driving, and driving with illness were the risk factors for road traffic injury in agricultural vehicle drivers (OR=12.139, 11.184, 6.729, 5.939, and 6.544, respectively). Conclusion: Pressure, history of car accident, history of drunk driving, fatigue driving, and driving with illness are the major risk factors for road traffic injury in agricultural vehicle drivers.

[Significance of the NLRP3 inflammasome expression in rats with acute lung injury induced by phosgene].
Objective: To investigate changes of NLRP3 signal transduction pathway of acute lung injury induced by phosgene to analyze NLRP3-mediated IL-1β release inflammatory process in rats. Methods: Rats were randomly divided into two groups, 10 rats in the Air group that consists of the rats with air exposure, 10 rats in the Psg group that consists of the rats with phosgene exposure at 8.33 g/m(3) for 5 min. The specimens of serum, bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) and lung were collected after 6h. ⋯ The levels of NLRP3 and caspase-1 mRNA and protein expression in lung were significantly increased (P<0.05) in Phosgene group, but no significant change was observed in lung ASC mRNA and protein expression (P>0.05). Compared with Air group, the serum, BALF and lung tissue of IL-1β、IL-18 and IL-33 mRNA and protein expression were significantly increased (P<0.01) in Phosgene group. Conclusion: NLRP3-mediated inflammatory response probably involved in the process of the phosgene, so it maybe one of the pathogenesis of acute lung injury.

[A trend analysis of the incidence of occupational diseases in Chongqing, China, from 2006 to 2014].
Objective: To investigate the incidence of occupational diseases in Chongqing, China, from 2006 to 2014, and to analyze the harm, features, and trend of occupational diseases in Chongqing. Methods: The data of new cases of occupational diseases from 2006 to 2014 were collected, and the patients with a confirmed diagnosis of occupational diseases were selected as study subjects to analyze the incidence of occupational diseases in Chongqing. Results: There were 17499 cases of occupational diseases in total in Chongqing from 2006 to 2014. ⋯ There were 16400 cases (93.72%) of occupational pneumoconiosis in total, mainly coal workers' pneumoconiosis (55.87%) and silicosis (43.02%) , and the main industries involved were coal mining and washing, railway transport equipment manufacturing, and mining and washing of bituminous coal and anthracite. There were 724 cases of occupational poisoning in total; there were 281 cases of acute occupational poisoning, mainly gas poisoning (39.86%) and carbon monoxide poisoning (33.10%) ; there were 443 cases of chronic occupational poisoning, mainly poisoning caused by benzene (47.63%) , mercury and its inorganic compounds (32.74%) , and lead and its inorganic compounds (9.03%). Conclusion: Occupational diseases in Chongqing are mainly occupational pneumoconiosis, and occupational health supervision should be enhanced in the industries of coal mining and washing and railway transport equipment manufacturing to protect workers' health.
