Case ReportsProstate tuberculosis complicated by huge prostatic abscess: A rare case report from Nepal.
Prostatic tuberculosis is one of the rarest findings in clinical practice and associated prostatic abscess is even scarce, described in literatures. We present a rare case of prostatic tuberculosis complicated by huge prostatic abscess. ⋯ Trans-urethral loop drainage is a safe treatment modality for patients presenting with prostatic abscess followed by anti-tubercular therapy if histopathology findings are suggestive of granulomatous lesions.

Case ReportsIatrogenic diaphragmatic hernia as a late complication of laparoscopic excisional biopsy of peritoneal nodules: A case report.
Iatrogenic diaphragmatic hernias have been reported as a rare complication of abdominal surgery, and only a few reports have suggested minimal intraoperative injury to the diaphragm as a cause. ⋯ Surgeons performing laparoscopic excisional biopsy of the diaphragmatic peritoneum should consider the potential risk for iatrogenic diaphragmatic hernias.

Case ReportsBromelain-based enzymatic debridement as a treatment of choice in high-risk patient with deep facial burns, a case report.
Deep facial burns are often combined with inhalation injury that could lead to patient destabilization. Accurate timing of surgical debridement of deep burns in a critical patient is the real medical art. Especially in patients with deep burned face and hands, in whom early debridement promises better functional and aesthetic results. ⋯ Bromelain-based enzymatic debridement proved to be safe and effective on the face in a very high-risk patient with unstable circulation and severe inhalation injury as an alternative to tangential excision.

Necrotizing fasciitis is a rapidly progressive and potentially fatal soft tissue infection. A wide spectrum of aerobic and nonaerobic organisms has been implicated as the causative pathogen. Necrotizing Fasciitis due to Salmonella serovars have previously been implicated both with and without a prodromal diarrheal illness, but mono-microbial Salmonella NF is very rare. ⋯ Necrotizing soft tissue infections are associated with considerable morbidity and mortality, and delayed recognition and treatment can have severe implications. Necrotizing fasciitis due to Salmonella serovars has been reported with Group B and C however no previous reports of NF have been reported with this serovar.
