Case ReportsLangerhans cell histiocytosis in the adult clavicle: A case report.
Langerhans` Cell Histiocytosis (LCH) is a rare disease involving proliferation of Langerhans-type cells, which shares immunophenotypic and ultrastructural similarities. In this article, we report a case of Langerhans cell histiocytosis in solitary involvement of clavicle of adult male. ⋯ Most of the solitary tumorous lesions in clavicle in adults call for various differential diagnoses. ReviewCovid-19 mimicking symptoms in emergency gastrointestinal surgery cases during pandemic: A case series.
The COVID-19 pandemic has changed patient management in all sectors. All patients need to be examined for COVID-19, including in digestive surgery emergency cases. In this paper, we report four digestive surgery emergency cases with clinical and radiological findings similar to COVID-19. ⋯ Emergency surgery, especially digestive surgery cases, can be done in the COVID-19 pandemic era with strict prior screening and examination, and safety protocol.

Case ReportsDelayed union of a surgically treated fragility fracture of the pelvis: A case report.
There are no universally accepted treatment strategies for fragility fractures of the pelvis (FFPs). The incidence of delayed union or non-union of Type IIIa FFP is still unknown. ⋯ Non-union of the iliac wings is relatively rare following high-energy pelvic ring fractures. The incidence of delayed union or non-union of Type IIIa FFP remains unknown; therefore, careful follow-up of patients who undergo treatment is necessary to reduce the risk of delayed union.

Case ReportsDelayed massive hemothorax due to diaphragm injury with rib fracture: A case report.
Delayed massive hemothorax after blunt trauma is rare, although associated with significant morbidity and mortality. In most cases, the intercostal artery is the main bleeding source. We report a rare case of delayed massive hemothorax due to a diaphragm injury with a lower rib fractures. ⋯ Diaphragmatic injury with lower rib fractures can result in delayed hemothorax, requiring thoracotomy.

Necrotizing fasciitis is a rapidly progressive and potentially fatal soft tissue infection. A wide spectrum of aerobic and nonaerobic organisms has been implicated as the causative pathogen. Necrotizing Fasciitis due to Salmonella serovars have previously been implicated both with and without a prodromal diarrheal illness, but mono-microbial Salmonella NF is very rare. ⋯ Necrotizing soft tissue infections are associated with considerable morbidity and mortality, and delayed recognition and treatment can have severe implications. Necrotizing fasciitis due to Salmonella serovars has been reported with Group B and C however no previous reports of NF have been reported with this serovar.
