Case ReportsA case report of appendicitis within an Amyand's hernia: A surprising finding in diagnostic laparoscopy.
Amyand hernia is a rare type of hernia in which the appendix is located inside the hernia sac.Its diagnosis is very difficult in the Pre-operative period and it is usually presented as an intraoperative finding. ⋯ based on our study another diagnostic modality in case of clinical suspicion of amyand hernia is diagnostic laparoscopy which is useful approach in all forms of incarcerated hernias to assess contents and avoid unnecessary laparotomy.

Case ReportsSurgical treatment of femoral medial condyle fracture with lag screws and proximal tibial plate: A case report.
Femoral medial condyle fracture is a rare fracture. Here, we report a case of femoral medial condyle fracture treated with lag screws and proximal tibial plate as a buttress plate. ⋯ The locking compression plate for proximal tibia is an acceptable solution for femoral medial condyle fracture.

Case ReportsLeft sided omental torsion with inguinal hernia: Case report.
Omental torsion is an unusual cause of acute abdominal pain. This condition may mimic other common pathologies, for instance, appendicitis or colonic diverticulitis. As a result, the diagnosis of omental torsion could be challenging to achieve preoperatively. ⋯ The omental torsion is a rare cause of acute abdominal pain and could mimic other intra-abdominal pathologies.
