The prognostic role of neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio and platelet-lymphocyte ratio in patients with stage III non-small cell lung cancer treated with concurrent chemoradiotherapy.
Neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and platelet-lymphocyte ratio (PLR) have been shown to be prognostic markers in various types of cancers. In this study, we retrospectively investigated the prognostic role of NLR and PLR in stage III non-small cell lung cancer patients (NSCLC) treated with concurrent chemoradiotherapy (CCRT). ⋯ Our results support the prognostic role of pretreatment PLR and lymphocyte count in stage III NSCLC patients treated with concurrent radiotherapy.
