[Results of primary repair of injuries to the median and ulnar nerves at the wrist].
Wounds on the palmar side of the wrist affecting the median or ulnar nerves are responsible for motor and sensory sequelae, severe pain and cold intolerance. ⋯ Sensory recovery after an isolated ulnar nerve lesion at the wrist is better than after an isolated median nerve lesion but there is no difference in the motor recovery. Combined median and ulnar lesions have an especially bad prognosis and may require secondary palliative surgery. The existence of nerve contusion and a high number of tendon injuries were factors associated with a poorer prognosis.

Case Reports[Bipolar forearm dislocation or floating forearm (a case report)].
Bipolar dislocation of the forearm or floating forearm is a rare injury. It combines concomitant elbow and wrist dislocation. ⋯ The diagnosis of wrist dislocation may initially be missed and therefore the prognosis will be worse. The authors report a case of a bipolar dislocation with a posterior dislocation of the elbow and a perilunate dislocation of the wrist.

[Dorsally displaced intra-articular distal radius fractures treated by locked palmar plate. Technique and results].
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the results and complications of locked palmar plating in patients with articular fracture of the distal radius. ⋯ The result of this study showed that locked palmar plating of articular distal radius fractures is effective even in cases of metaphyseal comminution with a low rate of complications.

Case Reports[Median nerve entrapment after fracture dislocation of the elbow: a two-cases report].
The median nerve entrapment after elbow-dislocation is rare. We report two cases of fracture dislocation elbow completed by entrapment of median nerve occurred after reduction in two children. For both cases, the diagnosis of entrapment was made some months later after injury. ⋯ The nerve recovery was satisfactory at the final follow-up. This nerve complication should be suspected systematically before and after reduction of all dislocation of the elbow in the children. The indication of nerve release or nerve graft depends on the entrapment and the delay of the palsy.

[Postoperative analgesia with continuous intra-articular infusion of ropivacaine following trapeziectomy].
A pilot study was implemented to evaluate the efficacy of patient controlled analgesia (PCA) with continuous intra-articular infusion of ropivacaine following trapeziectomy with ligament reconstruction and tendon interposition. ⋯ This preliminary study showed continuous basal and bolus infusion of ropivacaine through a single catheter placed into the trapezium void to provide an excellent postoperative pain control and to be related to a high patient's satisfaction level.
