Randomized Controlled Trial Multicenter StudyCamrelizumab versus placebo in combination with gemcitabine and cisplatin as first-line treatment for recurrent or metastatic nasopharyngeal carcinoma (CAPTAIN-1st): a multicentre, randomised, double-blind, phase 3 trial.
The addition of camrelizumab to gemcitabine and cisplatin showed promising activity as first-line therapy in patients with recurrent or metastatic nasopharyngeal carcinoma in a phase 1 trial. We therefore compared camrelizumab plus gemcitabine and cisplatin with placebo plus gemcitabine and cisplatin in a randomised phase 3 trial. ⋯ For the Chinese translation of the abstract see Supplementary Materials section.

Randomized Controlled Trial Multicenter StudyCabozantinib for radioiodine-refractory differentiated thyroid cancer (COSMIC-311): a randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled, phase 3 trial.
Patients with radioiodine-refractory differentiated thyroid cancer (DTC) previously treated with vascular endothelial growth factor receptor (VEGFR)-targeted therapy have aggressive disease and no available standard of care. The aim of this study was to evaluate the tyrosine kinase inhibitor cabozantinib in this patient population. ⋯ Exelixis.

Meta AnalysisTrastuzumab for early-stage, HER2-positive breast cancer: a meta-analysis of 13 864 women in seven randomised trials.
Trastuzumab targets the extracellular domain of the HER2 protein. Adding trastuzumab to chemotherapy for patients with early-stage, HER2-positive breast cancer reduces the risk of recurrence and death, but is associated with cardiac toxicity. We investigated the long-term benefits and risks of adjuvant trastuzumab on breast cancer recurrence and cause-specific mortality. ⋯ Cancer Research UK, UK Medical Research Council.
