This study aimed to comprehensively assess the optimal regimen for high-dose methotrexate (HD-MTX) in treating primary central nervous system lymphoma (PCNSL). ⋯ Based on the findings of this study, the treatment strategies of MTX are associated with the prognosis and efficacy response of PCNSL patients. The results suggested that the current recommended HD-MTX dosage of 3.5 g/m2 is sufficient for PCNSL to have a favorable treatment response and prognosis. When the number of MTX treatment cycles increases, the therapeutic effect and prognosis of PCNSL patients are improved. The patients treated with MTX-based triplet combination regimens have a better ORR and CR. Although HD-MTX is generally well tolerated, it is necessary to be cautious about the use of multiple therapy that includes cytarabine to prevent potential acute toxicity.

Pregnancy-associated atypical hemolytic uremic syndrome (p-aHUS) is a rare, life-threatening condition characterized by microangiopathic hemolytic anemia, thrombocytopenia, elevated liver enzymes, and acute kidney injury. Prompt diagnosis and therapy are crucial due to the high risk of progression to chronic kidney disease (CKD), end-stage kidney disease (ESKD), and dialysis dependency, as well as significant maternal and fetal morbidity and mortality. ⋯ This analysis highlights the severe kidney and pregnancy outcomes associated with p-aHUS. Eculizumab treatment is significantly beneficial in reducing the risk of CKD and ESKD.

Asthma seriously affects people's survival and quality of life, causing a huge economic burden on society. Modern clinical use of Qianjinweijing Decoction (QJWJ) for the treatment of asthma has achieved good results. However, there is still a lack of research on its efficacy and mechanism of action. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of QJWJ in the treatment of asthma by systematic review and meta-analysis, and to explore its potential mechanism by network pharmacology. ⋯ QJWJ is effective in the treatment of asthma, and the therapeutic mechanism may be related to its regulation of inflammation, immunity, and apoptosis.

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a global health problem with high morbidity and mortality. Tai Ji and Qigong are traditional Chinese meditative movements, benefit COPD patient's physical and mental health. ⋯ Tai Ji and Qigong increase %PredFEV1 and promote QoL. However, the evidences are not sufficient, a proper subgroup analysis should be considered.

Ultrasound-guided versus blind arthrocentesis in knee osteoarthritis: A systematic review and meta-analysis.
To summarize the current evidence about effectiveness and accuracy of using ultrasound-guided compared to blind arthrocentesis in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis. ⋯ In the comprehensive systematic review and meta-analysis of knee osteoarthritis, ultrasound-guided arthrocentesis is superior to anatomic landmark-guided arthrocentesis in terms of pain reduction and accuracy.
