Integrative analysis of the characteristic of lipid metabolism-related genes for the prognostic prediction of hepatocellular carcinoma.
Dysregulation of lipid metabolism is implicated in the progression of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). We therefore investigated the molecular characteristics of lipid-metabolism-related genes in HCC. ⋯ This study provides new insights into the role of LMRG in the pathogenesis of HCC and presents a novel prognostic signature 6-IS monitoring the clinical course of HCC.

The study is retracted for the following reasons: Statistical analysis suggests that the data may be fabricated. Y Saitoh provided a statement in a personal communication to a member of the editorial board of British Journal of Anaesthesia that the study was not approved by the Institutional Review Board and that no evidence exists to support the study findings.
