Contact Dermatitis from Hand Hygiene Practices in the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic continues to spread globally at a staggering speed. At present, there is no effective treatment or vaccine for COVID-19. Hand disinfection is a cost-effective way to prevent its transmission. ⋯ However, ACD is less common and only accounts for 20% of the cases. The identified allergens in hand cleansers are predominantly preservative excipients and ACD attributable to ABHR are very uncommon. Alcohol-free hand rubs are widely available on the market but it is not a recommended alternative to ABHRs by the CDC.

Case ReportsChylous Ascites: A Rare Initial Presentation of Pancreatic Carcinoma.
Chylous ascites as first manifestation of pancreatic carcinoma is very rare. Usual presentations of pancreatic malignancy are abdominal discomfort, back pain, obstructive jaundice and duodenal obstruction. Development of chylous ascites during the course of the disease signifies poor prognosis. ⋯ Our patient developed chylous ascites early in the course of the pancreatic carcinoma. CT scan abdomen was non-conclusive and cervical lymph node biopsy later on revealed that the primary disease was occult pancreatic carcinoma. [Magnetic resonance of the hands for the diagnosis and follow-up of rheumatoid arthritis].
Conventional radiography of hands has been the imaging technique used for the early diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis, considering its easy access and ability to reveal structural damage. However, it does not provide information about inflammatory activity or prognosis of this disease. ⋯ This article reports the imaging protocol for magnetic resonance of the hands used at our institution for the diagnosis and follow-up of patients with rheumatoid arthritis. We also review the main imaging findings of the disease.
