The aim of this study was to examine the anxiety status of the frontline clinical nurses in the designated hospitals for the treatment of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Wuhan and to analyze the influencing factors, to provide data for psychologic nursing. This study used a cross-sectional survey design and convenience sampling. The questionnaires were completed by 176 frontline clinical nurses. ⋯ Sex, age, length of service, and clinical working time against COVID-19 were associated with anxiety in those nurses. Psychologic care guidance, counseling, and social support should be provided to the nurses to reduce their physical and mental burden. Nursing human resources in each province should be adjusted according to each province's reality.

Primary ovarian small cell carcinoma of hypercalcemic type in a pregnant woman: A case report.
Ovarian small cell carcinoma of hypercalcemic type (OSCCHT) is a relatively rare and highly fatal gynecological malignancy of unknown histogenesis, affecting mainly girls and young women. OSCCHT occurring during pregnancy is an uncommon event, and preoperative diagnosis of this malignancy is much more difficult in pregnant than non-pregnant women. The aim of this study was to describe a rare case of primary OSCCHT in a pregnant woman and to review the current literature. ⋯ OSCCHT is a very rare and highly aggressive tumor type. The clinical symptoms of this tumor are nonspecific, and pathological examination remains the gold standard for diagnosis. Most patients are diagnosed with advanced stage disease and do not respond to chemotherapy. The prognosis of OSCCHT is generally poor, and no treatment guidelines are available as yet. For pregnant woman, OSCCHT is especially harmful to the mother and may indirectly lead to the death of the fetus.

A large number of healthcare workers have been infected with coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19). We aimed to investigate their clinical and chest computed tomography (CT) characteristics. The clinical, laboratory test and CT features of 43 medical and hospital staff with confirmed COVID-19 (MP group, 26-70 years old) were retrospectively analyzed, and compared to 43 non-medical related patients (non-MP group, 26-71 years old). ⋯ Despite greater knowledge of how to protect themselves than the general population, healthcare workers are also susceptible to COVID-19 infection. Occupational exposure is a very important factor. Healthcare workers have a higher vigilance about the infection in the early stage of the disease.

Autophagy, a major cause of cancer-related death, is correlated with the pathogenesis of various diseases including cancers. Our study aimed to develop an autophagy-related model for predicting prognosis of patients with laryngeal cancer. We analyzed the correlation between expression profiles of autophagy-related genes (ARGs) and clinical outcomes in 111 laryngeal cancer patients from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA). ⋯ Integrated with clinical characteristics, gender, N and the risk score are very likely associated with patients OS. A prognostic nomogram of ARGs was constructed using the Cox regression model. Our study could provide a valuable prognostic model for predicting the prognosis of laryngeal cancer patients and a new understanding of autophagy in laryngeal cancer.

Anaplastic large T-cell lymphoma (BI-ALCL) is a rare primitive lymphoma described in women with breast implant prostheses, which has been arousing interest in recent years due to its potentially high social impact. The difficult diagnosis associated with the high and increasing number of prosthetic implants worldwide has led to hypothesize an underestimation of the real impact of the disease among prosthesis-bearing women. The aim of this work is to search for specific radiological signs of disease linked to the chronic inflammatory pathogenetic mechanism. ⋯ A diagnosis of BI-ALCL can be reached using new radiological indicators, such as fibrin, which is clearly visible by MR in the form of nonvascularized debris of amorphous material hypointense in all sequences, free flowing or adhered to the external surface of the prosthesis.
