Systematic review and meta-analysis of reflexology for people with multiple sclerosis: Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis.
Research on reflexology therapy for multiple sclerosis (MS) is limited, and the evaluation is mixed. Our aim is to confirm the efficacy of reflexology therapy for MS. ⋯ Reflexology therapy can be used as an effective intervention for the pain and fatigue of MS patients while improving the quality of life.

Accumulating evidence supported the clinical efficacy of Danhong injection (DHI) on chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It is urgent to summarize the effects of DHI on various outcomes in COPD patients and to elucidate the molecular mechanisms of DHI in treating COPD. ⋯ Taken together, this study suggested that DHI could ameliorate hemorheological indicators, lung function, arterial blood gas, and as well as coagulation functions of COPD patients and elucidate the underlying mechanism of DHI against COPD.

This meta-analysis aimed to compare the efficacy of intramedullary and extramedullary femoral alignment technique in treating total knee arthroplasty (TKA) patients. ⋯ The present meta-analysis showed that intramedullary and extramedullary femoral alignment technique had comparable precise profiles. And extramedullary femoral alignment technique could reduce blood loss and blood transfusion. Total complications were comparable between the groups. More randomized controlled trials with large samples are required to verify the comparison of intramedullary and extramedullary femoral alignment technique in TKA patients.

Review Meta AnalysisThe Prognostic Value of Elevated Neutrophil-Lymphocyte Ratio for Cardiac Surgery Associated Acute Kidney Injury: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis.
Patients undergoing cardiac surgery are at significant risk of developing postoperative acute kidney injury (AKI). Neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) is a widely available inflammatory biomarker which may be of prognostic value in this setting. ⋯ Elevated preoperative NLR is a reliable inflammatory biomarker for predicting AKI following cardiac surgery.

Meta AnalysisAssociation Between the FRAIL Scale and Postoperative Complications in Older Surgical Patients: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis.
Several frailty screening tools have been shown to predict mortality and complications after surgery. However, these tools were developed for in-person evaluation and cannot be used during virtual assessments before surgery. The FRAIL (fatigue, resistance, ambulation, illness, and loss of weight) scale is a brief assessment that can potentially be conducted virtually or self-administered, but its association with postoperative outcomes in older surgical patients is unknown. The objective of this systematic review and meta-analysis (SRMA) was to determine whether the FRAIL scale is associated with mortality and postoperative outcomes in older surgical patients. ⋯ As measured by the FRAIL scale, frailty was associated with 30-day mortality, 6-month mortality, postoperative complications, and postoperative delirium.
