This study evaluated the treatment procedures for chemotherapy (CT)-induced persistent azoospermia and their outcomes from a different perspective. ⋯ The sperms may be detected using m-TESE in patients who develop persistent azoospermia associated with CT due to different oncological diagnoses. Our study revealed that a low FSH value and normal ejaculatory ROS rates are positive predictive factors of sperm detection before m-TESE. The motility of the sperms detected after m-TESE and normal SDFI rates were found to be positive predictive criteria of high fertilization, good embryonic cleavage, pregnancy, and live birth.

Comparison of Clinical Practice in the Emergency Department: Female Versus Male Emergency Physicians.
There are fewer female emergency physicians (EPs) than male ones. This study attempted to analyze the differences in clinical practice between female and male EPs in the emergency department (ED). ⋯ Female and male EPs had similar clinical efficiency on patient evaluation, and they had no difference in diagnostic tool use. Furthermore, they showed similar patient disposition with the same accuracy.

Coronary heart disease (CHD) is associated with the development of several diseases. This retrospective population-based cohort study investigated the association between CHD severity and subsequent chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) of varying severity. We used data from Taiwan's National Health Insurance Research Database. ⋯ Our multivariable analysis demonstrated that the incidence of CRS in the CHD-CABG group was significantly higher than that in the CHD-PCI group (aHR: 1.196, 95% CI: 1.064-1.280, P = 0.0402), but the two groups had similar incidence rates of severe CRS (aHR: 0.795, 95% CI: 0.456-1.388, P = 0.5534). Subgroup analyses revealed that the association between CHD severity and CRS development was more significant among men (P = 0.0016). In conclusion, we determined that severe CHD treated with CABG was associated with a higher incidence of subsequent CRS, and this association was more prominent among men.

General practitioners' self-reported competence in the management of sexual health issues - a web-based questionnaire study from Finland.
Objective Although sexual problems are common, they are rarely brought up in appointments with general practitioners (GPs). We aimed to assess the barriers that hinder GPs from bringing up sexual health issues and to evaluate the need for education on sexual medicine. Design A web-based questionnaire was used. ⋯ In our study, the GPs reported a high competence in discussing patients' sexual health issues regardless of the patient's gender. However, several barriers to bringing up sexual health issues in appointments emerged. A majority of the GPs expressed a need for continuing education about sexual medicine.

Breast cancer is one of the rarest types of cancer in men. Its incidence increases with age, as in women. Neurofibromatosis type 1 is an autosomal dominant genetic disease that predisposes to many cancer types. ⋯ With the high possibility of breast cancer development in female patients with neurofibromatosis at an earlier age, prompt and careful evaluation is required in terms of both examination and radiological imaging. Unfortunately, there are no thorough recommendations for breast cancer follow-up in male patients with neurofibromatosis. Here, we present a breast cancer, which is an uncommon type of cancer in male neurofibromatosis.
