Apathetic Graves' disease with severe hepatic and renal dysfunction induced by COVID-19 infection: Case report and literature review.
A rare and intractable case of apathetic Graves' disease (GD) with severe liver and kidney damage induced by coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) carries a certain risk of missing diagnosis and delayed treatment during the COVID-19 pandemic. ⋯ COVID-19 may induce GD. Multidisciplinary collaboration can be initiated as early as possible. Individualized 131I therapy or long-term low-dose MMI (10 mg/d) can be considered to manage hyperthyroidism in GD patients with liver and kidney dysfunction and to prolong liver protection therapy appropriately.

An Elderly Patient Developed Ulcerative Colitis after SARS-CoV-2 mRNA Vaccination: A Case Report and Review of the Literature.
An 86-year-old man presented to our hospital with symptoms of diarrhea and bloody stool, which had manifested two weeks after receiving his third severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 mRNA vaccination. ReviewIndividualized brain mapping for navigated neuromodulation.
The brain is a complex organ that requires precise mapping to understand its structure and function. Brain atlases provide a powerful tool for studying brain circuits, discovering biological markers for early diagnosis, and developing personalized treatments for neuropsychiatric disorders. Neuromodulation techniques, such as transcranial magnetic stimulation and deep brain stimulation, have revolutionized clinical therapies for neuropsychiatric disorders. ⋯ Still, the individual variability among patients and the diversity of brain diseases make it necessary to develop personalized solutions. The article provides an overview of recent advances in individualized brain mapping and navigated neuromodulation and discusses the methodological profiles, advantages, disadvantages, and future trends of these techniques. The article concludes by posing open questions about the future development of individualized brain mapping and navigated neuromodulation.
