Diabetes nephropathy (DN), as one of the common complications of diabetes, is characterized by persistent albuminuria, decreased glomerular filtration rate, and elevated arterial blood pressure. At present, Xuebijing injection is widely used in the treatment of DN. However, few systematic reviews and meta-analysis related to Xuebijing injection intervention in DN were published. In order to more systematically and objectively evaluate the clinical efficacy of Xuebijing injection intervention in DN, we conducted systematic reviews and meta-analysis to verify it. ⋯ Xuebijing injection combined with alprostadil has more advantages in treating DN compared to routine Western medicine.

The pathogenesis of diabetic peripheral neuropathy is more complex and it is not yet clear, but studies have shown that microangiopathy and oxidative stress responses are closely related to their pathogenesis. At present, the treatment of improving microcirculation and antioxidant stress is mainly used in clinical. Alprostadil is a commonly used vasodilator, and alpha lipoic acid is an antioxidant, which can effectively reduce oxidative stress responses and delay the progression of diabetes mellitus and its complications. However, there is a lack of evidence-based medical evidence for alprostadil combined with alpha lipoic acid in the treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy, and this article aims to understand the clinical effectiveness and safety of alprostadil combined with alpha lipoic acid in the treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropath by a meta-analysis of published randomized controlled trials. ⋯ Open Science Framework (OSF), registration number: DOI 10.17605/OSF.IO/7S46G.

The effect of alprostadil on preventing contrast-induced nephropathy for percutaneous coronary intervention in diabetic patients: A systematic review and meta-analysis.
At present, there are a lot of research about the effect of Alprostadil on preventing contrast-induced nephropathy for percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) in diabetic patients, but the clinical efficacy is not consistent, so we conduct this study and therefore determine the dominant strategy for the treatment of PCI in diabetic patients based on the best evidence currently. ⋯ Our result suggested that comparing with conventional Hydration, Alprostadil can significantly reduce the incidence of CIN, adverse reaction, and protect renal function in PCI in diabetic patients. Due to the limitations of the quality and quantity of the articles, this conclusion still needs further research to confirm.

Review Meta AnalysisProstaglandins for adult liver transplanted patients.
Prostaglandins may reduce ischaemic injury after liver transplantation. Several small randomised trials have evaluated the effects of prostaglandins in patients undergoing liver transplantation. Results of these trials are inconsistent, and none has enough power to reliably exclude effects of prostaglandins. ⋯ We found no evidence that the administration of prostaglandins to liver transplanted patients reduces the risk of death, primary non-function of the allograft, or liver re-transplantation. Prostaglandins might reduce the risk of acute kidney failure requiring dialysis, but the quality of the evidence is considered only moderate due to high risk of bias in most of the included trials. Moreover, there are risks of outcome measure reporting bias and random errors. Therefore, further randomised, placebo-controlled trials are deemed necessary.
